How to manage your Splinterlands card rentals efficiently

With the recent explosion of new players on Splinterlands, it has become more and more interesting to rent out the cards that we don't need ourselves.

Using the website of splinterlands is fine if you want to rent out a card but it's very difficult and time consuming to manage your rentals through it. To manage my rentals I use the website peakmonsters. It has some inbuilt tools to check my rentals, update them and also control the prices.

In the video I explain how I manage my rentals in a matter of 5 minutes per day. Maybe it can help you as well.

How do rented out cards count for SPS or Power points?

Something that a lot of people asked me is how the rented out cards were counting for SPS airdrop and also for the power points.

  • Rented out cards count as your own for the daily SPS airdrop. Therefore renting out cards won't affect your SPS income.

  • However for the power points, it's the person who rents the card that gets these power points. Renting out cards will thus diminish your power points.

Wow I didn't realize that list existed. I guess it will help me manage rental prices and I will check it over the weekend.

Very happy to hear that :-). Peakmonsters is really a time saver and it allows to have a great overview of what is rented out and how much income it generates.

I find it really difficult to find out what cards are renting for what price and what kind of current prices they are renting for. This is helpful though minus the last part as I don't want to be renting out cards at a super low price when they could be higher.

I think that everybody needs to find his/her own strategy for fixing the rental prices. For me I like to have them rented out even if maybe I could get a couple of percent more return. Thanks for stopping by!

Love it. I am only currently renting one card and will need to pull it down soon. Are the rental prices the same as in-game? I will need to rent some prior to season end. I have enough rank but not enough power for Bronze I.

The data is pulled from the same place. I haven't explored how to rent cards with peakmonsters but I believe there are also some appropriate tools for it.

Thanks for the post! I play the game occasionally and love it, but aside from the dec and the airdrops, I had no idea that income could come from rentals. I had recently been thinking about selling some cards, but I’m going to check out peakmonsters for renting them instead. Thanks again for the information!

Thank you really much for posting this! Just like you, I was hesitant to use renting for a very long time. But now I start using it!

Wow, your card collection is incredible. I would be glad to own at least one Mylor and one Furious Chicken.
You must have been very early in the game.
I hope, I can get my hands on some hundred packs in Chaos Legion. Maybe the rental market will not cool down until then :o).
I saved your video in case, I ever get to renting out cards. Good information, thank you :o).

I have indeed started the game very early. At that time alpha cards were still for sale. It has been a great journey so far :-)

I believe that in a second :o). My journey began 4 weeks ago and so far, it is incredible. Splinterlands is actually addictive without the incentive of DEC. I love it to think, which summoners and monsters my opponent will put up.
