There are some major changes that were or that are going to be added to the game, like the introduction of soulbound reward cards. I tried to understand how this change from the present system to a new system of soulbound cards would affect the Splinterlands economy.

Soulbound cards are great for the economy. It's more balanced, as now you can't rent or buy. I am think of getting more cards before they're out of print !
It's a good way to favourise people who really regularly play the game.
Thanks for the overview. It is a good new dynamic to the game that seems will have a positive effect on the game. The soulbound cards I understand are fixed for 2 years and then will be tradable though. So it is like a delayed function?
From what I gathered from the town hall, I believe that they will be tradable once out of print but only after being infused with DEC first. So it will probably cost something to make them tradable. Not 100% sure about that though.
Yes, I read that you will need to pay to make them tradable. I am curious how much that would cost. Maybe similar to the burn cost? So this could also be another sink for DEC?
I expect it also to be like that. This would be a nice sink for DEC I believe and make the cards pretty expensive :-)

It is a way to benefit players but hurt investors. I understand that they are trying to strike a balance.
I don't think that it will hurt investors because it will give value to DEC in general and through DEC to SPS. In the long run, investors will earn more I believe.
The 3 rulesets are quite stressful because there is a time limit, but it's good fun! Also think there is more good than bad for this new set of changes. Thanks for sharing!
I agree, the 3 rulesets need to get used too. Especially sometimes there are contradictory ones and it's difficult to find out what will happen :-)
I think the new soulbound cards will add new choices to my play.
I am finding a few of the new 3 ruleset set not working as I expected. When all cards lose abilities and then had an additional ability added it sometimes doesn't add them.
Then sometimes it does. It might be the order of the abilities being applied. Not sure but will have to watch for it happening again.

I do like the changes. I think it's a step in the right direction to stop money from flowing out of the game from bots who're only interested in extracting maximum value.
The reward cards were the primary income source of these bot farms and I believe it's good that this business model won't work anymore.
Will all the reward cards go out of stock or just the ones that were released at the start of Chaos Legion? It looks like a lot of things are changing as they we enter the new season.

Yes, the existing reward cards will go out of print at the end of this season and replaced by the soulbound cards.
I do agree with you. These solbound reward cards going to be make a huge impact over splinterland gaming platform. No doubt it can be only earn from focus chest. Maybe possible with the time there will be some change and can get from purchase but till now there is no such announcement. These powerful card, specially summoners sure going to change the game strategy. There is some Hustle and bustle can be seen in rent market. Everyone wants to increase their season chest. I am too the part of that. Although my tendency is towards Doctor BLIGHT.
