Splinterlands - Weekly Battle Challenge : Goblin Psychic

HELLO

This is my first ever post about the battle challenge. I decided to post it because this is one of my favorite cards in Earth Splinter. Let's break down this card ability first.

  • As you can see from the stats above. Health is the only Stat that gains an upgrade in almost every level of the card.
  • Even if you don't get an upgrade in terms of stats, you get 3 new abilities at levels 4, 6 & 10.

    THE BATTLE

    ROUND 1

    • In the first round, I'll make all opponents focus to attack Mycelic Slipspawn & absorb all damages.
    • I had projected Mycelic Slipspawn would survive all attacks in round 1. He also acts as a damage dealer in this round along with Goblin Psychic.

    ROUND 2

    • With only 1 Health left, Mycelic Slipspawn can still provide tank space in the 1st line (Biceratops) to survive, because there is still 1 attack focused on him.
    • 2nd Tank: Biceratops, he will be the main actor in this round as the last stronghold protecting Regal Peryton & Goblin Psychic along with Khmer Princess (3rd Tank & Decoy).

    ROUND 3

    • Late Round, with the death of all the Tanks, this is where the important role of Goblin Psychic is seen. With a large amount of damage & healer abilities for 1st liner monsters, he plays a key role as a support & damage dealer in 3rd round.

    • The enemy has lost almost all of its key monsters, the only remaining support & 1 long range damage dealer.

    ROUND 4

    • By leaving only 1 long-range attacker remaining on the 1st line. The enemy can no longer do anything in this round.

    CONCLUSION

    • The battle went as I expected, where Goblin Psychic will be the main actor in this battle as a healer or damage dealer.
    • Mycelic Slipspawn, Biceratops & Khmer Princess did their job well to protect Regal Peryton & Goblin Psychic which I planned to not take damage in the early round.
    • So far I've only paired Goblin Psychic with Obsidian, maybe in the future, I'll try to do it with other summoners with various ruleset options.
