Will Modern Format Stay Top Heavy?
In this video, I discuss whether or not modern format will stay top heavy once Chaos Legion rotates out with the introduction of Conclave Arcana. Many people are expecting that the rotation will even out the leagues a little more - and in theory it absolutely will assuming more players come in and more packs are purchased. As of now though, we are showing less Conclave Arcana packs that would get into circulation than Rebellion which is already low compared to Chaos Legion. This could mean that until the market picks up or the marketing efforts ramp up we could end up in an interesting situation where we continue to have a top heavy modern format - much more scaled down though.
This could create the right incentives for more pack purchases though which would in theory lock up more DEC, burn SPS, increase rewards, and create a positive feedback loop. We shall how it all plays out very soon!

For me, we have to wait for when the market will pick up, perhaps towards the end of Q3 and the begining of Q4 before players might begin to pick up conclave from the market to play in modern.
However for modern players who mostly owns only CL cards, I think it'll be strange to them to adjust to buying will pass to play in wild.
