Battle Strategy Using Magnificent Mollusk – Backline Ranged Attack

With another great win today in the battle I am sharing. Todays battle was quite interesting and I got chance to make team with 40 mana. As I often say that in mid to high mana battles my win chances are more and this time also exactly same happened and I got win in this battle.

In this battle I selected 7 monsters. Although this was not a very high mana battle but still I tried to fill all team slots so that at every position some monster is present and team stays balanced.

In yesterdays battle I made one small mistake which later I felt. Today I thought I will not do that mistake again. That is why this time while making team I gave more attention to positioning.

I placed strong tank monsters in frontline so that they can absorb enemy attacks. After that in third position I placed sneak attackers and support monsters. I thought if tanks take first damage and backline monsters stay safe then they will keep attacking comfortably.

My selection and positioning were quite good. But on other side opponent also chose quite strong monsters. Seeing their team I felt this match will have almost 50% chance meaning win can go to any side.

When battle started I was happy that my strategy was working exactly right. My frontline monsters were stopping enemy attacks and my backline team was safe.

Best performance was from my 3 backline monsters. From them continuous strong attacks kept coming. Every round enemy monsters got damage and slowly their team became weak. One by one their monsters got eliminated.

In this way slowly battle control came to my team and finally I won this battle.

In this battle my most great monster who stayed alive till end was Magnificent Mollusk. This monster really very powerful is and its abilities also quite interesting.

Best thing about Magnificent Mollusk is that it is strong ranged attacker who from backline continouslt gives damage. This monster has one special ability that is Demoralize which enemy monsters melee attack power reduces. This means opponents melee monsters cannot do so much damage.

Also this monsters attack is quite strong which enemy units quickly eliminate helps. For this reason this monster proves in mid or high mana battles quite useful.

But like every monster it has some weaknesses. First thing is that its mana cost is high so in every battle using it is difficult. Second thing is it is not frontline monster and any strong melee attacker can destroy this monster.
