Splinterlands - Owster Rotwell against units with magic attacks

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will show you a battle from a tournament I participated in. In this battle the event modifier called Eggceleration is active, so all units will gain +1 to all stats at the end of each round. In addition, only units with magic attacks will be able to be summoned, since the Wands Out modifier is active. And the Junior Varsity is also active, which only allows units and archons that cost 6 or less mana to enter the battlefield.

In this battle, I used the summoner of death, Owster Rotwell, since he grants the Magic Reflect ability to all my units, so enemy units when attacking with magic, will take 50% of the damage they deal.

In the first position I put the Dark Arborist, which only has 1 magic attack power, but has 5 hit points. And it has the Demoralize ability, which reduces the melee attack power of enemy units by 1.

In the second position is Elven Mystic, who also has 1 magic attack power but with 4 hit points.

In the third position is Tortisian Chief, my first magic unit with 2 magic attack power, and the one with the most hit points.

And in the fourth and last position is Arachne Weaver, who also has 2 magic attack power; and the Corrupted Healing ability, so in each round, it restores 70% of the max health to other allied units. Each time it heals, the affected units will lost 1 point of max health.

Battle

In the first round, Tortisian Chief defeats the enemy Moxian Rebel. Then, the enemy Dark Arborist is defeated by the magic reflect ability after attacking my Arborist.

In the second round, the enemy Baron Fyatt defeats my Dark Arborist. Then, my Arachne Weaver defeats Baron Fyatt. After that, the enemy Arachne Weaver defeats my Elven Mystic.

In the third round, my Arachne Weaver ends the battle by defeating the enemy Weaver.

My opponent also used the summoner Owster Rotwell and, like me, also summoned Dark Arborist and Arachne Weaver. And played Baron Fyatt, who is really useful as he has the Halving ability, but his first unit in the frontline position was really bad, as it only has 1 hit point.

My lineup had many more hit points, and thanks to that the battle was in my favor. It ended quickly in the third round and I won with two units alive. A great victory for Owster Rotwell.
