Hope you are having a wonderful end year. While S&P500 is at all time high, BTC is below 50 MA (moving average) and silver is getting the attention after gold did last quarter. Hope all of this can be just past in a minute and who knows their will be a rotation into cryptocurrency so that everyone will be happy.

This weeks Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Paths to Power is all about Champions of splinterlands who forges their strenghts in each unique way. From learnings, asking question after question and slowly learning how to play. Then start earning neither DEC nor SPS as you win in every ranked battle or rewards cards after every end of season or as you level up you join guild and join the battle and earn merits as you open your first pack and earn those gladiators hoping you could open Quora Towershead. Then as you learned and become stronger learning every meta you join the tournament hoping to be in the podium and earn those yummy prices neither DEC, SPS, Land or cards . Hope we can go back in the past where in some games they give a huge sum of BTC as prices as like using BTC to buy pizza but knows Splinterlands (SPS) will be the future. In this week challenge i would like to share my path as i am still here after 4 years playing splinterlands almost everyday.

MY PATH TO POWER

As the theme of the challenge is path to power i will speak as a normal player and those whales are my inspiration as i progress my way of splinterlands if it will still exist for another 8 years or many more.

1. PLAYING SPLINTERLANDS ALMOST EVERYDAY (4 Years )

They say that small activities as you play almost everyday when compounded at the end of the year you will be surprised how far you got neither learning or game strategy or collections. When i am starting as a new player my early thousands of battles are for learning before i start to earn DEC, SPS Or reward cards . Across the battle i played veterans where you can see their million collection and become inspiration as you can see they are battling before covid . I remember their guild name GOAT GANG where almost every members have millions of collection power at the time if you have that collection you are having a juicy SPS airdrop and SPS at that time are from peak nearly 1 dollar . I said myself if i play splinterlands for that long i may have also a million collection power.

2. GROWING MY COLLECTION POWER

In relation to playing almost everyday not only that you gain knowledge and strategy you grow also your collection power as you earned those reward cards. You will be alot of smiles if you got those golden legendaries. Fast forward today i now have 2,098,046 collection power maybe more if chaos collection power didn't drop down.

If you ask me, if those are earned just by playing it the answer is no. But playing the game is the first way i earned of those. Second is by buying directly into the market or packs i won as reward or bought in the pack sale event. Third is by flipping cards (i learned in watching @infidel1258)- buying cards that you think are cheap that can be sold into a higher price. Buy 5 cards and sold the 4 cards and own the 1 card that is if you price the card more than 25% the price you bought them. Rinse and repeat. I manage to grow my collection by doing those but with bear market the value of my cards has been dropping down. Fourth is by joining guild and joining guild brawl where you earn merits and by gladius packs. Fifth is by joining tournaments . And bonus is by receiving gifts from different players . GLADIATOR CARDS

By joining any guild and joining the guild brawls you will earn merits and SPS. The merits you will use them to buy gladius packs and wish it is a gold foil quora towershead.

MY GOLD FOIL CARDS

Gold foil collection is popularized by @goldmatters and this gold foil collection are awesome as it give additional boonus and needs only few copies to level up unlike those regular copies

MY CONCLAVE ARCANA CARDS

Most of my conclave arcana cards i accumulated them during the conclave arcana presale event where i spend nearly 2 Million DEC and earning the title "THE MYSTIC" . The conclave arcana edition sale is still on going and can buy in the market.

FOUNDATION BLACK FOILS

20 Weekly Frontier Draw and now i have 20 Foundation black foils. Not yet a single lucky draw in frontier all of my collection are bought in the market or via P2P. Although i got a decent gold foil and regular foil earn just by playing and opening packs earn in the battle. The foundation mode where you can earn this is the good starting point for new players.

3. GROWING MY HIVE POWER

It is the conversation of @aftersound and azircon that lead me into this. Growing my Hive power do a lot of things. You can participate in hive governance and vote withnesses or validators . You can also support any DHF proposals as what Splinterlands did before. Not only that you can also curate other splinterlands players or support each other . As one grow you also grow. Currently now i surpassed the 20,OOO HP.

I think this 3 are the things i can share at the moment as a normal splinterland player.. Goodluck into each everyones journey.
