The cards in Splinterlands are not all about the base stats. It is the abilities that are what makes cards interesting and make things complex in battles. And with all the cards available in the game and new ones being introduced frequently, it is very hard to master and figure out the best line ups and combinations.
However, to mix things up, we sometimes come across a rule set that strips out all the abilities of the monsters and we have to find the best combination of cards with decent enough attack and defense to win us the battle.

Road to 100k SPS - Added 1k SPS to the Stake today

I have been trying to accumulate more SPS and all this is done for the goal that I have. My SPS goal is 100k and I am trying my best to grab as many as I can. Certain goals are very important for us and even more important to keep track of progress because setting up goals and losing progress is something not encouraged. The proper method is to set up the goal and keep track of the progress to ensure that we are adding towards the accomplishment. I usually try to follow the same methodology because there is no point in setting up a goal and not making it happen.

Strategy Corner #10- Back to basics - the most hated ruleset ?

Another week, another ruleset :). Back to Basics, I think it's one of the least favorites for most Splinterlands players. For me I think is one of the more interesting. There are plenty of ways to deal with it. As always I recommend checking @iamgem005 post, he always provides a fairly comprehensive list of cards that could be good or bad for the specific ruleset. Let's jump to the definition and talk a little bit about available strategies.
