Hound of Hades Cerberus

I wanted to give Cerberus a more terrifying look. So I decided to submit this artwork as my next entry into the weekly art contest

Cerberus in SL

In splinterlands, Cerberus is a rare melee monster from the fire splinter. The good thing about this card is it's heal ability which restores a portion of it's health each round.
Due to this ability Cerberus is usually played in the first position as a tank. And sometimes, the last position card as a defensive backline.

About this art

This drawing is made using my iPad's procreate app. Different tools were used to complete this illustration. Pencil, pen, paint, brush and airbrush are some of the tools used.

Art Progression

I used a similar method from before, where i draw using a pencil outline first, then using a black pen marker to highlight the outlines. Then applying base colors and finish off with some shadings and blendings.

In mythology, Cerberus is the watchdog of the underworld. Notable to this creature is it's three headed. Being the guardian and gatekeeper of the afterworld, Cerberus prevents the dead from leaving.

In pop culture Cerberus has been seen in many movie adaptations like in Warner Bros. Harry Potter.
