Aimless Ruleset: Void for the win!

In this week's battle challenge post we have the aimless ruleset. This ruleset involves scatter shot which applies to ranged and magic attack monsters. Personally, I like magic monsters here as I know for the most part they are going to do damage rather than just hitting shields. There is also an alternative strategy with this ruleset and that is to use melee monsters so you know where they are going to hit and be more accurate with your damage. The below battle involves the strategy using magic as well as trying to defend against magic attacks using immortalis. This is what I believe to be a nice way to prevent a few monsters being eliminated quickly while also making sure your damage gets through. Without further delay, let us get into the battle. Round 1

Naturally, my opponent did a pretty nice job of countering my strategy as he played no magic monsters and nerfed the shields from my queen. However, the magic damage was still key as I would have run into his shields from his taunt monster. In round 1, I am able to eliminate both of his backline monsters ignoring the taunt however one is a martyr card making his night ghoul pretty strong. The buff increases his speed however which proves to be a fatal mistake.

Round 2

Round 2 I get pretty lucky in that all my hits go right for his only damage dealer rather than being distracted by his fiend. At this point, I like my chances as I am going to fire first and hopefully hit his front line ghoul with my magi or mushroom seer.

Round 3

That is exactly what happens and he goes down in this round with me only losing my first two monsters up front. It was a bit of gamble with all the magic and got lucky on hitting his frontline alot however in scatter shot you really want to put up as many distractions as possible which my opponent did not.

As you can see, the strategy did not play out as expected however I felt very comfortable going into this matchup with the void armor ruleset as well as scatter shot and going heavy magic. Using immortalis with magic monsters as well as rathe allows you to hit your opponent while eliminating or lessening your opponents hits.
