Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Moments That Made You a Better Player

Greetings everyone!

Today's blog is specially dedicated to all the splinterlands newbie players. Because today I want to share you about my journey of the game, where I have made mistakes and where you can eliminate that mistake and play more better. Of course even the pro player of the game was once beginner, every player make many mistakes and then slowly it grows. Basically everything needs experience as much you work on something you will get better in that work it's not only about the game but every where in life too. So I just want to share my journey and mistakes I have made in the past when I was also a newbie.

The most common mistakes a beginner are making is choosing the monster and summoner every time different. When I was newbie this was the most common mistake I was never reading the ruleset just choosing anyone in the mana cost and start playing the game. I was having zero knowledge about the monster, element, ability etc. and many other things. And the most important thing when I was new to the game I was playing 50 battles a day. I still remember that days.

I literally lost all the 50 battles, I did not won a single battle that day. So I decided to learn the game with some experience player. So I just go on discord and asked my seniors to teach me the basic. They helped me out they tell me about the element, ability, summoner, monster and every thing. From that day I started playing and becoming better it's almost 2-3 years ago back then. I am playing the game really from long time. Then I started experiencing some new things on my own. It took some time but everything was worth.

At that time the game was also not much developed as compare to now, I was playing in WILD with the old monsters, and from the beginning I am playing the battle with MAGIC monsters till now. Then slowly updates came in the game then I started playing in MODERN. I still remember my old days how much I have struggle to learn the things. As I will say again the game splinterlands will looks hard once in the beginning, but when you play and understand the things you will see how easy and quick game it is.

As update comes out the opponent also came strong in front. Then in between I started buying and renting the monsters from the monstermarket. I have buy LORD and one more monster which I don't use much. But then as I was playing game more and more opponent came stronger in front. I was started losing the battle with the basic monster, so of course when you are losing battles you will automatically know that your deck is getting weak, you need to upgrade the monsters. So then from last few months I am renting the monsters for a season from market again and again.

The moment when I lost 50 battles in single day I was really fcuked up that day, anyone will get frustrate. At that day I decided to learn the game and slowly slowly I learned to develop monsters, deck, rule set. I was keeping eye on every single thing and know I have lot and lot of knowledge about the game. But to be honest I play the game thrice a week not more then that. But I am always seeing and trying to make a deck stronger. And when you lose the battle just know what's the reason and why opponent win the game and then try to develop the same thing in your deck.
