Splinterlands | Serpent Of The Flame Challenge
The Serpent Of The Flame is a card I did not get early on because it's an epic that was quite expensive at the time I started playing and there was nothing about the stats that made it a must-have. The Fire Summoner at that time had no tank heal which made most of the time use the Goblin Mech as a tank or the Cerberus when it was a low mana battle. I bought it this morning to test it out with my alt account. I wrote a post (Link) on how I pretty much win every match currently with that account in the Silver league because I constantly get matched up with opponents that only have level 1 cards. Completing this challenge taking a win also was a piece of cake without even trying to select a competitive deck. I'm being patient at the moment with the game hoping the properly identify the pay2win problem making sure it gets fixed.
The rules for the game were Armor & only Even mana monsters. I pretty much randomly selected a Dech with the Serpent Of The Flame at level 1 as the main tank. It didn't survive very long but I had enough better cards with the Naga Fire Wizard, The Spirit Miner, Beetle Queen, Cyclops and to finish off my golden Furious Chicken.
In any normal circumstance, I would have lost this match as it's not really a competitive line-up given the rules. I can't say it was a fun match as there was no challenge to it.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested.
