Who's a fool? [story mode]

Once upon a time,

on a random date called 1st April, people decided to have a game. They were not allowed to choose their teams and both had teams assigned to them. Team 1 was deathstarer7, getting a mother khala team and team 2 was voi597, getting a Drake of Arnak team.

This was how their battle sequence looked like.

Of course, both teams had their advantages and disadvantages. The only special thing was that they could come up with a plan and try to distract the opponent. So, they took 2 minutes to discuss with each other their plans. They were allowed to come up with all kinds of tricks to win the game.

Deathstarer7's Plan

Time Mage: "Let's confuse them first okay! Run away at the end!"
The rest: "What do you mean??"
Time Mage: points in the air and did some magic diagram. "We do this first then that."
The rest: "Huhh!! You are letting them have a ----"
Time Mage: "SHHHHH!!"

Voi597's Plan:

Drake of Arnak: "We can win this, we have so much advantage and they have so little defense and attack."
Cursed Windeku: "Just stay alert every time and I will report to the people at the back on what I think their plan is."
The rest: "ok let's do this"

Ruleset of game:

Mana: 12
Standard: No modifications to the standard rules and game mechanics.

Game start!

Round 1

Time Mage: "OK 1 hit on cursed windeku. Slow and steady first..."

Cursed Windeku: "Hmm, flying ability, are you going to run away?"

Pelacor Conjurer: "Dude I'll just let you attack me today, I won't let you miss it. Come on! I will stand still here for you."

Cursed Windeku: "Is this some kind of trick?" *Still proceeds to attack though *

Stitch Leech: "Ok I need to quickly attack the back cards but jeez, those shield are really annoying me."

Round 2:

Time Mage: "Yep definitely hitting that cursed windeku."

Cursed Windeku: "What in the world is going on?? "

Pelacor Conjurer: "Just hit me bro."

Cursed Windeku: "Ok, I hitting already ah. Don't fly away from me!" *Cautiously hits pelacor conjurer. *

Pelacor Conjurer: "See, I told you."

Cursed Windeku: *whispering to the back * "guys, I have no idea what is going on. Help is very much needed on this game plan"

The people behind cursed windeku: "bro... aren't you supposed to lead us"

Now now, this is where the Drake of Arnak team is having a hard time trying to understand what is going on. Why would the opponent let them attack and they didn't even try to use their ability?

Stitch leech: "Ok nice, got rid of the cursed slimeball already."

Round 3

Time Mage: "Yes, slowly draining away the cursed windeku health first. He doesn't even realise it."

Cursed Windeku: "Hey, your health is left with only 1. Aren't you going to activate your flying ability and fly away?"

Pelacor Conjurer: "Just kill me already."

Cursed Windeku: "ok as you wish." * Proceeds to attack successfully*

Pelacor Conjurer

After Pelacor Conjurer got KO'ed, it went to fly around the battle arena to search for blind spots, trying to put Time Mage's plan to play.

Cursed Windeku: *whispers to teammate * "Ok guys our chance of winning is so high now. Let's do this. I'm going to play a prank on stitch leech by telling him there's something crawling on him. He loves food."

Stitch Leech: "Hi we meet again now at the front row. I'm going to hit you heh" *on the attack position and ready to go *:

Cursed windeku: "look, what's that crawling on you? isit lunch time?"

Stitch leech: *looks and missed the attack * "DUDE there was nothing there"

Cursed windeku: "HahaHAhAH"

Round 4

Time Mage: *whispers to teammate * "Okay, they played a prank on us. It's our turn to play them soon"

Cursed windeku: "Goodbye my friend, it's time for you to die"

Stitch leech: "ughh stupid thorn ability"

Round 5

Teammates of Time Mage: "I hope your plan really works, we are really on the verge of losing"

Time Mage: "Yes, I'm going to minus his health first"

Cursed windeku: "getting really weak huh you guys"

Carrion Shade: *whispers to cursed windeku * "Hey 2 health left you can do this"

Cursed Windeku: "yes of course, I'll give them chance first since they let us hit them just now. I have confidence we can win this"

Round 6

Time Mage: *thinks to herself * "yup, my plan is definitely working, it's still risky though"

Cursed Windeku: "ok I won't hit you this time"

Around this time, pelacor conjurer found a blind spot and put a sign "Kick me" on carrion shade. Nobody noticed it of course.

Round 7

Time Mage: *thinks to herself * "I just need at least one more chance from cursed windeku"

Cursed Windeku: "I won't hit you this time too"

Time Mage: *thinks to herself * "that's it"

Round 8

Time Mage: "Definitely attacking you"

Cursed Windeku: "Hah my turn, not letting you off anymore" *proceeds to attack *

Time Mage: "do you smell smoke?"

Cursed windeku: *missed the attack * "huh what smoke"

Time Mage: "don't know" 🤷‍♀️

Cursed windeku: "Wait what I-"

Round 9

Time Mage: "Goodbye haAhaHh"

Cursed windeku

Carrion Shade: "noo, what is going on" *so unsure, but still proceeds to try attacking *

Time Mage: "wait, why did your teammate put a kick me sign behind you?"

Carrion Shade: "sign?"

Time Mage: "ya it reads kick me"

Carrion Shade: "huhh why would my teammate put that?"

Time Mage: "oh I don't know, it has been there for a long time already"

Carrion shade: * completely forgot about his attack* "why would my teammate put that..."

Round 10

Time Mage: "attacking you again"

Carrion shade: *realised he missed the previous attack * "Wait a minute, what did you just do"

Time Mage: "Me? I didn't do anything."

Round 11

Time Mage: "Goodbye carrion shade"

Carrion shade

The teams were able to play pranks on each other and there were no consequences whatsoever. How come?

Thoughts on this battle

Initially thought I would lose while watching this match because pelacor conjurer didn't even allow a miss! The shield was also getting in stitch leech's way and wasn't able to fully unleash it's potential since there was no miss from pelacor conjurer. It just went to the front before being able to attack carrion shade. In the end, time mage was the one tanking most of the miss. Can so many miss one meh! What happen to pelacor conjurer!
