Splinterlands SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge: Efreet Elder

(Edited)

With less than 24 hours left until the end of the season, and with some free time I decided to take part in another round of the weekly Share Your Battle Challenge, in addition it was interesting to try different tactics with the Efreet Elder card.

It's worth saying - I rarely play Fire, but I like to use this card in battles with little mana because of this monster's ability to double its life and attack parameters when left alone. On top of that, it has a good speed parameter, which makes it hard for enemy archers to hit it, and an impressive amount of health points, which makes it a pretty resilient fighter.

In this battle I tried this arrangement of forces:

  • CERBERUS in the first position, with a large attack, enhanced summoner and the ability to restore damage
  • EFREET ELDER in the second position, to strengthen the attack and (in case CERBERUS falls) double the health and "pull" the battle.

And since the battle was very short, I'll share another battle, in which I emphasized on cards with high health due to Noxious Fumes rule (all monsters in the game are poisoned and lose health).

The formation was done this way:

  • CERBERUS in the first position, with a big attack, enhanced summoner and the ability to restore damage (including poison)
  • FINEAS RAGE on the second position, to strengthen the attack, and since he has a lot of health points he could last a very long time
  • EFREET ELDER on the third, to "take out" the enemy's first position and, again, with a lot of health points he has a chance to last quite a long time.
  • FIRE BEETLE completes the comination and attacks the opponent's long-range positions.

Such a great card :)

p.s.What do you think of my new cover image for Share Yore Battle posts in the "old-school comic book" style?
