3D Modeling Quests Potions (Animation and Sticker) - Splinterlands Art in Blender

Hello! Today I want to share with you my latest 3D model I made for Splinterlands, this time I made the Quest potion in Blender, I animated it there and then worked on Adobe Premiere to make a loop and also composed a song for the video on beepbox.co.

Process

First I checked the references in splinterlands website and picked the one I thought would be easier to start with, the Quests one.

So I went to Blender and added some roundness in the edges of a cube by pressing Ctrl+B in Edit mode. Then, by pressing W and selecting subdivide I added this divisions to the upper part of the cube. Then added an inset in the middle face so I could grab it to make the bottle neck:

So I extruded it like this.Followed the same process to make the top. Then I added a background.

Then I made a piramid on top of it, as it shows in the original design.Started adding materials, glass for the bottle and metallic for the top.

And after that I worked with the tag:

Then I added the inner liquid and bubbles, which gave the touch of magic and coolness to make it all come together and look amazing. But you will see it scrolling a bit more, because here is a wireframe view:

Render test with final results

The final look turned out really good, the inner bubbles, materials and everything was on place. So I could continue with the next phase.

Making the animation

Still in Blender I animated the camera focus and the movement of the bubbles, by adding some keyframes and adjusting as I wanted things to move and work.

After that, in Adobe Premiere I made a loop by repeating the base animation and also combining it with a render without the bubbles to give the sensation that the bubbles appear and dissapear.

The music

And last but not least, I composed the music for it using beepbox.co. The idea was to create a melody that sounded calm and relax, I didn't have the intention to make it sound like asian music but I like the result.

The sticker

I made an extra render with a different composition to fit in a sticker for telegram. With this file I worked on Photoshop to get this sticker look.

And this has been added to the 3D objects sticker pack on telegram, which you can download and install here:

I recently downloaded Blender to check it out.
I love that you made this a sort of tutorial.
And the sticker is awesome too!
You're so talented. 🥰
