Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with water splinter and my opponent used a water splinter against me. Earth and Death teams were banned in this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 24 mana cap and three rules:

Wands Out: Only monsters with magic attack may be used in battle.

Born Again: All monsters have Rebirth ability.

Even Stevens: Only monsters with even mana cost may be used in battles.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, KELYA FRENDUL level 5. Summoner, KELYA FRENDUL level 5. This water summoner adds +1 speed and armor to my team.

First Position, DJINN OSHANNUS level 3. This mage has decent magic attack and great speed and health. It also takes less damage from magic attacks and can avoid magic attacks.

Second Position, PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS level 3. A super powerful and fast mage.

My Strategy & Tips

I used a tank who can evade magic attacks and takes less damage from magic attacks. I also made a gamble- after picking my tank I had enough mana for either one powerful monster or a few weaker ones. I decided to go with one strong mage.

Analysis of The Battle

I was scared than I saw that my enemy has a monster with Blast ability. But I was lucky that my opponent was lower level and his tank could not avoid magic attacks. My tank evaded some enemy attacks. Enemy killed my tank and nearly finished of my PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS. In the end my powerful mage had only 1 health but still managed to destroy my enemies so I won.
