Analysis --> 5th full season in Splinterlands - Rewards and Stats (Silver II) + Season end Rewards and Stats for my alt account (Bronze II)

Another Splinterlands season has come to an end and what better place to start this short write-up than what the Praetorian Santa brought us naughty kids for Easter.😁
Last season I had less cards but 3 of them were rares, while this time around I got only 1 rare card. Still... I can't really complain as long as the number of potions is as low as possible.


I am pleased with my match stats this season. I'm getting closer and closer to the 2.00 ration (Win/Loss), granted I am only playing in Silver II, however, I do not yet have any level 4 summoners, so I expect to substantially increase my Win/Loss ratio as my deck gets maxed out for Silver. My overall account Win/Loss ratio is 54% which might not seem much but I was actually around 40-45% while beating my head against the Bronze Bot Gods before I figured out how to get out of there. Bronze is substantially harder to have a decent win rate in, especially when you barely have any cards of your own in the beginning, and you are still learning what the game is about.

Tournaments, tournaments, tournaments... This has definitely been the keyword for this season and most definitely going forward. I've entered every single tourney I deemed worth it, and I did have some pretty good success here and there. Granted I still need to expand my collection to cover some areas I am currently lacking cards in. Yeah - I know - I can rent cards specifically for tourneys but I just don't feel that renting is the way I want to play the game. Especially since my rentals get cancelled on me more often than not and that's really annoying.
As far as the SPS tourneys go, all the tourneys the tourneys I entered had a fee of 2 SPS, so I broke even on all of them at the minimum.
I got a total of 35 SPS from them, and I spent 16 SPS on entries, so I am 19 SPS ahead from those, so that's not that bad at all.

The amount of cards received this season is in line with what I've got in the previous ones, so nothing really exceptional here, apart from the fact that I am yet to get a legendary card from the daily/seasonal chests. 😝

Last but not least as far as this account is concerned - the SPS Report. I have been trying to both increase my airdrops by buying additional packs and hodling them, and buying SPS so I can enter more and more tournaments.
I currently get about 8.4 SPS per day from airdrops and 1.8 SPS from staking - so a total of ~ 10 SPS, which is pretty good but can get even better... 😁


A little distraction from the season talk, since I opened a gladius case earlier today and that's always worthy of a celebration. 😁 I got an epic card, so.. hey 200 CP for free, that's more than what I got from daily reward cards this season. 😝


So, when I thought about writing this short blog post about the end of the season a few minutes before it ended, I was like.. yeah why not include my 2nd account as well and demonstrate how boring the rewards you get in Bronze II are. Little did I know I would actually get a lot more excited about what I got in the 7 chests I opened on it. 😀
Behold Harclaw in the first chest, the first reward legendary (I have not bought off the market) for me. I guess... good thing I got the 2nd account since I would have not received it otherwise. 😊 The rest of the rewards were just as I expected of course. Credits and more credits.


As I mentioned earlier in regards to my main account, the struggle was real in Bronze. Well you can see that the struggle is still real for my alt. 🤣 149 wins vs 144 losses for the season, barely floating above 50%.


So as you can see below, had I not gotten the Harclaw from the EoS reward chest, I would have had just 3 cards for the whole season out of the daily quest chests - and I did my daily quest religiously. It took me more than an hour sometimes.. 🤓


The rewards earnings as a whole can be summarized in 3 words - credits, credits, credits (if you convert the potions into credits that is)😉


A quick look at what I spent on renting on this account - 48 DEC in total spent, and I've earned 539 (again 500 DEC is the burn cost of the Harclaw), so had I not gotten it - I would have ended the season at -9 DEC, as far as the burn cost of the cards is concerned.
