Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) Price Analysis 10/26/21

Everyone wants to know what's going to happen next to Dark Energy Crystals now that the presale is ongoing and people will be spending their DEC to purchase packs. There is also a lot of speculation about potential exchange listings in the future that would expand the project and grow the userbase even further. There are many unknowns still under wraps from the Splinterlands team in regards to the VOUCHER token use cases and the governance for SPS stakers.

Let's dive right into the charts and get started:

Here I have shown the Fibonacci retracement on the most recent price run-up from 0.5c range to the peak of more than 1.6c. The price then dropped down to the Dow retracement level of 50% before nearly testing the golden retracement of 0.618. Buyers quickly stepped in to provide the much needed support and it led to 3 days of green candles. This could be a short term price reversal as the market begins to adjust to the multitude of factors and sentiments. Volumes are still relatively low overall.

Using my three favorite indicators on this chart (BB, MACD, RSI) we can clearly see the price is below the daily moving average of 1.29c with upper ranges at 1.59c and lower range at 1c. MACD is just beginning to show some signs of a reversal trend and the RSI is neither oversold nor overbought here. A little bit of a consolidation would not be out of the question considering the huge run we recently had, followed by more upside from the influx of new users.

Price predictions:
Bull case- a push back towards 1.4c-1.6c before a break to the upside following a major news catalyst (such as listing or new project developments)

Neutral- Consolidation above 0.9c for some time before picking a decisive direction

Bear case- Re-test the golden retracement levels around 0.94c before breaking down to 0.75-0.5 cent levels again for accumulation.
