Splinterlands 47th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. I did have to do some fights during the last few days, but it wasn't too many.

Season Rewards

I ended up with 2,661 Glint for last season, which is slightly less than what I was getting before. I didn't start as early as last time, but I did get some fights in early so the rush wasn't as bad during the last few days.

I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. I got more cards this time around, and I am glad to see a rare card amongst the bunch.

It's rare, but I got a jackpot reward card from my Frontier quests, and I had a nice frontier pack that gave me a gold foil epic card.

I went for one epic card this time around because I saved up enough Glint. It's too bad it's a duplicate, but I still think it's a good card.

Gladius Packs

I got 4 packs this time around, and the opening seems a bit worse than last time. There were no epic, legendary, or gold foils this time around.

I was able to upgrade my Captain Katie to level 6. It gains the divine shield ability, but it's too bad that I can't use this card anywhere due to my archon levels.

SPS

My SPS rewards were higher than last time. I didn't miss any brawls, so my Brawl SPS was a bit higher this time around and I did a few more Modern fights on the last day after reaching Silver.

I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 123.47 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.

Conclusion

This season was mixed. I did manage to get to Silver early on and did a few extra battles in Modern afterwards. SPS was decent, and I got fairly lucky with some my Frontier quests, but the gladius case opening was kind of bad.
