Splinterlands - The Start of My October 2022 Purchases

Another fun filling Townhall today as I saw some cool artwork that is soon to be integrated into the game. On that note watching DEC price falling has now also pulled some card prices lower than I had thought it would go and decided to pull the trigger on some purchases.

Epic Sales!

Chaos epics as low as $0.299 per bcx and sold as single bcx in Insidious Warlock I had to add at least one toward my collection.

In addition my favorite splinter in water I added some Nerissa Tridawn and Igor Darkspear. Now what is left in water epic that I have yet to start collecting is Wave Brood but I just wait a couple more days to save up my earnings I should be able to get one.

Raising My Rewards

Looking over at the many commons I have held on to as bcx I have started to combined them and level up. That way I have more cards to play with at gold / diamond league level caps.

From Blood Maker, Ever-Hungry Skull, Gargoya Lion, and Merdhampir. Then there are older commons I also merge:

Harvester and Nightmare. I seem to have already combined other older rewards common. In case those wondering if its worth combining cards the main reason I am doing so is so that I can raised my card collection to have cards reach level capped. The cards in the long run won't have as good as a resell value as if they were 1 bcx since players likely be willing to pay a little more per each bcx instead of a card that has combined bcx.

Conclusions

Close to $20 in cards I purchased for the day. I was able to spend this much from the earnings I got through the past week from posting and Splinterlands rewards.

For those still curious if the game is profitable I am a veteran proof that it is. Although I will admit now it is harder to get the ball rolling since the amount invested now in order to earn a respectable amount of rewards requires much more capital. Yet I think as long as someone has the patience to play the game daily and stay active they will be able to achieve as much or even more than what I have on here.
