Splinterlands Battle - A Battle with Flamesmith.

I'm attending the weekly battle challenge of splinterlands.
This week's theme was Flamesmith.

Flamesmith is a dice monster in fire splinter. This is a monster with ranged attack and some nice abilities.

This can level up to level 10 but for that I need a summoner of higher level also.
I don't have a summoner that's in higher level so I tried this monster on level 1 with my level 1 fire summoner.

Power: This is a nice card with 2 ranged attack, 2 speed, 1 armor and 4 health in level 1.

Abilities:

Shatter Ability:
Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from monsters with shatter.

This ability can be found at level 1.

Repair Ability:
Restores some armor to the friendly monster whose armor has taken the most damage.

This ability can be found at level 6.

I played with fire monster team.

It was a battle of total 14 mana with one rule and that is-
Standard: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.

This is a fire monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (2), Speed (3), Health (5).

It has one ability in the 1st level which is-
Heal: Restores a portion of the monster's health each round.
And another ability in the fifth level which is-
Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack, monsters with retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.

This is a neutral monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (0), Speed (1), Health (1).

Enrage: Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged.

Repair: Restores some armor to the friendly monster whose armor has taken the most damage.

Battle Details

My Battle

• Round 01
  
  My team started the battle with the first attack with cerberus and then fire beetle of the enemy team attacked and killed my team's furious chicken with one shot. Then flamesmith, the theme card attacked and killed the only melee monster of the enemy team.
  Both teams lost a monster each in this round.

• Round 02
  
  Enemy team had only one monster at this moment and that too is a ranged attacker so it's unable to attack from the front position and my team had two monsters where one was with melee attack at the front position with 3 melee attacks and another one is a ranged attacker and both has nice health. Two shots from two monsters of my team and the last monster of the enemy team died.
  My team finished the battle in this round.

  I was the winner of that battle with 23 points and 0.007 DEC.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes my strategy worked nicely and I might try similar monsters with nice powers next time when I do some battle.
