My SPL Season 188 Recap

Dear Splinterlands Community!

In this article, I would like to summarize my last season.

As I mentioned in my previous article (I felt like playing again in the Modern League - SPL Season 187 Report), I started playing again in the Modern League with my playing account, @szobipetya.

I also let my account play in the Wild League via XBOT because I don't always have enough time to spend all my energy. I configured the service not to go under 25 energy, and if I had time, I played in the Modern League in the evenings.

Let's see the results!

Modern League

There was my second holiday during the season, so I couldn't play as much as I wanted. The 103 matches were enough to reach the Gold III League again.

Wild League

My costs had three parts:

• Wild League Pass (always 2,000 DEC)
• Card rental fees (3,748 DEC this season)
• XBOT service fee (2,098 DEC this season)

Total DEC spent: 7,846 (~$2.71 while writing this article)

I rented the following cards for the whole season:

• Nearly all Chaos Legion Core max-level cards
• All Chaos Legion Reward 1 max-level cards

With this setup, my account played 305 battles and finished in Diamond I:

I also obtained some new cards during the season. I have several watchlist items for sale price discounts at SplinterTrends (https://splintertrends.com). With their help, I shot these cards:

Gold Calabash Sage ($0.168 via SPLMarket P2P)

Gold Caravan Guard ($0.159 via SPLMarket P2P)

Gold Daigendark Surveyor ($1.000)

Baron Fyatt ($1.406)

And a few minor ones (Anachron Bolter, 4x Incessant Sage, 5x Barthalamas)

My primary focus now is to build max-level Foundation Archon cards. In the last season, I successfully upgraded Barthalamas to level 3 and Incessant Sage to level 4. I could buy them immediately, but I want to use SplinterTrends to get the best prices.
