Reminder: Claim Your Arcade Colony Rewards

In the world of cryptocurrency collecting passive income has to be right up there within everyone's favorite things to do. Here on the Hive Blockchain collecting and staking A currency can give you some B currency that gives more (you guessed) currencies. Staking SPS and GLX is a perfect example of this. Those who hold SPS and GLX plus stake their holdings will get more of both. To claim your passively dropped SPS tokens head to Splinterlands and visit the SPS wallet section. Since I'm more than certain most reading this already know that tidbit of information I'd like to focus on dropped COLONY for staking the GLX token. If you take a look at the shared screenshot above you will see a section that says Staked GLX and SPS Rewards. It is in that section that you can see the amount of COLONY earned for staking GLX and SPS. So if you have either staked and never made a claim before (or even if you did) head on over to Arcade Colony > Click the COLONY icon at the top of the page > boom you are in the right section > click Claim All Rewards to collect your passively dropped COLONY tokens. Please note that staking SPS no longer actively gives COLONY drops. Staking GLX still does.

Arcade Colony is a platform that features multiple gaming apps. Such apps include Splinterlands, Moon Karts (Fun Fact: Moon Karts was the first game introduced to us by Arcade Colony), Stake House Den, Genesis League Goals, and features the Enable All App. Colony is the governance token for the Arcade Colony platform. Holding and staking COLONY tokens gives participants who do such influence within the gaming platform known as Arcade Colony. Influence that will give real say on important platform decisions. Ex. its those who stake the COLONY token that decide which games get to utilize the Arcade Colony reward system through voting on proposals. Each COLONY a participant has staked gives their vote more influence over such decisions. For example if participate one has 10 COLONY staked their vote will hold 9X more influence over someone who has just 1 COLONY staked. The colony token can be traded on apps such as TribalDex (powered by Hive-Engine). Below you will see the recent trade orders I placed for the COLONY token. What's Rentmoney's plan for the COLONY Token? As seen in the footer of this post I have been collecting the COLONY token passively. I have more stashed away in another account. No-where near the amount I want to have. Lately I been getting the itch to jump in markets with making some purchases as my holdings have fallen behind a little. COLONY is one of the tokens I been having my eye on and its likely I make the move to purchase a bag full sooner rather than later. Does this mean you should do what Rentmoney is about to? That's up to you. Nothing on the Rentmoney blog is financial advice. Rentmoney sees potential in the Arcade Colony platform. Rentmoney wants more influence within the Arcade Colony platform. There is only one way to get that influence and that is increase my Colony Token holdings. I'm going to do that in the upcoming days.
