In battles with the Weak Magic Ruleset, Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health, so using Magic Attack Monsters in such battles may not be advantageous, especially against Monsters with high armor.

In battles with the Weak Magic Ruleset, having high armor can provide a great advantage in certain battles, so I first of all take care to include Summoners and Protect Ability in my strategy, which gives extra armor to all friendly monsters. I would also like to say that whenever I have the opportunity, I add monsters with Repair Ability to my team without hesitation, because Repair Ability restores a third of max armor to the friendly unit whose armor has taken the most damage.

By the way, I would like to say that armor is not very useful against Shatter Ability and Pierce Ability. Because Monsters with Shatter Ability destroy their targets' armor when they hit them. And if the attack damage of Melee or Ranged attack monsters with Piercing Ability are in excess of their target's Armor, the remainder will damage their target's Health. That's why I attach importance to using both of these abilities if I have the opportunity in battles with the Weak Magic Ruleset.

By the way, Rebellion was released about three days ago and now Rebellion is live. You can take a look here for more information.. Rebellion general sale has also started. If you do not want to miss bulk purchase opportunities and airdrops, you can check out the general sale page here.

I will share one of my most interesting battles with the Weak Magic Ruleset, I hope you like it.

Battle Ruleset

  • Target Practice: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
  • Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.

MY STRATEGY

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the recent 5 battles of the opposing player and considered the rulesets of the battle, I guessed that the opposing player would prefer Magic Attack Monsters and Melee Attack Monsters with Sneak Ability in this battle, and I would like to say that I determined my strategy accordingly.

First of all, in this battle I will use Magic Reflect Ability against Magic attackers and Thorns Ability against Melee Attackers with the Sneak Ability, so I will choose Grandmaster Rathe as the Summoner so that all monsters in my team have the Amplify Ability and all friendly monsters have +1 extra armor. I believed that in such a battle, it would be advantageous for all monsters in my team to have +1 extra armor.

While I put Blinding Reflector with Magic Reflect Ability in the first position, I put Pelacor Conjurer with Magic Reflect Ability in the second position. The most important reason why I put Pelacor Conjurer in the second position is that I took into account the possibility of Magic Attack Monsters with Snipe Ability on the opposing team. Additionally, I added Adelade Brightwing, which has Repair Ability and Resurrect Ability, to my team, as I believe it will make a great contribution to such a strategy. And in the last position, I put Evelyn Auvera with the Thorns Ability.

If my guess is correct, this strategy will be very cruel against both Melee Attack Monsters with Sneak Ability and Magic Attack Monsters, so I like this strategy in these types of battles.

Summoner : GRANDMASTER RATHE

Grandmaster Rathe is a Life Summoner who gives +1 Armor, Void Armor Ability, and Amplify Ability to all friendly monsters.

  • Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Unit's armor before its Health.
  • Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy units by 1.

Position 1: BLINDING REFLECTOR

Blinding Reflector is a Life Monster that can attack the target with a Melee Attack and has Magic Reflect Ability at level 5. The main reason I added Blinding Reflector to the team was because it has the Magic Reflect Ability, and I put Blinding Reflector in the first position.

  • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage (rounded up) back to the attacker.

Position 2: PELACOR CONJURER

Pelacor Conjurer is a Life Monster that has no attack power and has Flying Ability and Magic Reflect Ability from level 4. The main reason I added Pelacor Conjurer to my team was because it has the Magic Reflect Ability, and I put Pelacor Conjurer in the second position.

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage (rounded up) back to the attacker.

Position 3: ADELADE BRIGHTWING

Adelade Brightwing is a Life Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has Flying Ability, Repair Ability and Resurrect Ability at level 2. The main reasons I added Adelade Brightwing to the team was because it has Resurrect Ability and Repair Ability, and I put Adelade Brightwing in the third position.

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Repair Ability : Restores a third of max armor to the friendly Unit whose armor has taken the most damage.
  • Resurrect Ability : When a friendly Unit dies it is brought back to life with 1 Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle.

Position 4: CELESTIAL HARPY

Celestial Harpy is a Life Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Flying Ability and Opportunity Ability from level 1. The most important reason for adding Celestial Harpy to the team was that it only cost 2 mana and had Flying Ability and Opportunity Ability. I put Celestial Harpy in the fourth position.

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Opportunity Ability : Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health.

Position 5: EVELYN AUVERA

Evelyn Auvera is a Life Monster that has no attack power and has Immunity Ability and Thorns Ability at level 3. Even though Evelyn Auvera does not have any attack power, I can say that I added it to the team because it has the Thorns Ability. My goal was to ensure that enemy monsters with the Sneak Ability would receive back damage. Also, since all the monsters in my team have the Amplify Ability, this would be very brutal for enemy melee attack monsters with the Sneak Ability. That's why I put Evelyn Auvera in the last position.

  • Immunity Ability : This unit is immune to negative status effects.
  • Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does 2 Melee damage back to the attacker.

BATTLE COMMENTS

You can watch the entire battle from the video or from the Battle Link

To be honest, the opponent player's strategy was also very good. If I had not reviewed the opponent player's recent 5 battles and could not predict his strategy, I would have little chance of winning against such a strategy. Fortunately, I take care to review my opponents' recent battles before starting a battle.

Round 1

In the first round, although the attacks of the enemy monsters were much stronger and more effective, the serious back damage the enemy Sneak monsters received from Thorns destroyed their armor. And the Elven Cutthroat, whose armor was destroyed, was destroyed by the Celestial Harpy. At the end of the first round, while one monster from the opposing team was destroyed, no monster from my team could be destroyed.

Round 2

The second round was almost like a repeat of the first round, but this time the enemy Sneak Monsters had no armor, so the back damage they received made them much easier to destroy. Really, using Thorns and Amplify Abilities together is very brutal for Melee Attack Monsters, and this battle was one of the best examples of that. And Dumacke Exile without armor was also easily destroyed by Celestial Harpy so I like Monsters with Opportunity Ability because they target the enemy monster with the lowest health. At the end of the second round, two more monsters from the opposing team were destroyed, while all monsters on my team were still alive.

Round 3

Frankly, this strategy has been very cruel and full of suffering for Sneak and the Opportunity Monsters. In the third round, two more monsters from the opposing team were destroyed, while all the monsters on my team were still alive. Only Silvershield Knight remained in the opposing team, and he had no chance of winning this battle on his own.

Round 4

Even though Silvershield Knight had the Piercing Ability, his attack power was not enough to win this battle, and he only had 6 health, so he had no chance of surviving for a long time. In the fourth round, Silvershield Knight's health dropped to 2, which meant that he would be destroyed in the next round.

Round 5

Silvershield Knight was also destroyed by Celestial Harpy and my team was able to win this very tough battle quite easily.

The battle lasted 5 rounds, and it was remarkable that at the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, all the monsters on my team were still alive, which showed that my strategy worked quite well in this battle. The fact that I used the Amplify ability together with the Magic Reflect Ability and Thorns Ability in this battle was very useful, and this caused my team to win this very difficult battle quite easily. That's why I like these types of combinations and have no hesitation in using them in these types of battles. I recommend you to watch this interesting and quite challenging battle from the Battle Link. I hope you will like it.
