Some tips for Brawl for FRAYS having bronze level caps and allow ONLY GOLD CARDS, some may think it's very hard but it's not, see below for details 👇👇
See in Bronze level cap Frays you won't be able to put level 1+ legendary card so legendary cards are filtered out as GOLD cards start from level 1+, so you remain with common cards up to level 3, rare and epic cards up to level 2. Though if you would like to rent some legendary gold cards you can, they just will be capped to level 1.
Now if you see to #12 Fray, you can see it only allows "UNTAMED" cards, so many cards get filtered out already. 😉
for #12 you get 6 summoners only right now ☝️
for #12 you get 35 epic & rare monsters only right now ☝️
No player can choose outside this, I am excluding common cards as they are very cheap to rent you can rent them easily, for rare and epics rents start from 3 DEC / day and goes up to 40-50 DEC / day
So now you can see you get way less competition in these Frays and you filter out many cards specially legendaries, so you don't have to worry about GOLD legendary cards and you can easily make your strategy choosing among these cards.
For #11 you can choose all edition cards but same thing thing applies there too you just have more options in it than the "UNTAMED" only Fray.
Many players fear of loosing before participating in these Frays so now you see it's not that hard at least not for now.
Always see you Fray rules before participating and choose the Fray which suits you.

I'm not sure why you are filtering out Gold Legendary cards. Gold Legendary cards can be used in bronze level frays (they just get treated as Level 1, even though normally 1 BCX GFL's are Level 2).
Yes that is true, they just won't have the level advantage, thanks for the clarification.
Plenty of legendaries are still super powerful at level 1 in Bronze league.
Legendary summoners like Yodin Zaku, Llama, Mimosa, Byzantine Kitty, Rennyn, Valnamor, Selenia, Camila
Monsters like Kron, Ruler of the Seas, Shin Lo, Dragon Jumper, Cornealus, and Chain Golem.
