Hey Guys.

What’s Up? How are you all holding up?

I hope that you all are well by the grace of Allah.

As promised I'm back again with another post of splinterlands. It's a new entry for this week's share your battle contest. In this post, I'll be sharing one of my ranked battles of splinterlands played with the fire splinter. I'll be discussing the lineup and strategy of this battle in this post. I'll also be sharing each and every detail of the monsters that I've used in this battle. I think I'll be able to explain the whole battle and describe every possibility of it. I hope you'll like it and it'll be enough for anyone to understand the battle strategy.

Now, let's get back to the main topic. And today's battle is quite exciting. Because the enemy was stronger than me if we consider the power of the cards. More details are in the post.

In the first position, I used the CURSED WINDEKU in the second place. It's a rare death monster which is a chaos legion card. This is a melee attacking monster and it has a special ability named Thorns. This is one of the strong abilities that monsters in this game have. It's also useful in battles. When a monster with melee attacking ability hits it, it can reflect the damage of -2 life to that monster with the help of this thorn's ability.

Then I used the SILENT SHA-VI in the third position. It's a common death monster which is a chaos legion card. The main reason for me using this monster is its sneak attacking ability. I used monsters that can hold the frontal attacks and also kill the monsters in the front position. But, as we all know that position doesn't actually matter to magic attacking monsters. They can attack from any position. If all my monsters were focused on attacking the first card then it'd take longer than expected till they were able to attack the monster in the back. And I'd lose the battle, which exactly happened to my opponent. This is why I used this monster with sneak so that I get the enemy from all possible points. You can never tell where you can find the weak spot of a lineup before starting the battle and that is why I like to be ready for any possibilities.

Then I used the LIFE SAPPER in the 3rd position. It's a rare death monster which is a chaos legion card. I use this monster mainly in my battles because of its life leech ability. This ability helps this monster to gain +1 life every time it attacks an enemy monster. And this is why I use it in the middle of my lineup and that's how it gets and a huge amount of life that makes it strong to hold the 1st position and also sometimes helps to win the battle.

Then I used the DEATH ELEMENTAL. The DEATH ELEMENTAL is a rare death monster from the untamed edition. It's one of my favorite monsters and the reasons are, its speed, magic attacking ability, and also the snipe ability. And this card costs only 3mana caps to use in battles. And the snipe ability helps it to attack monsters with magic and ranged attacking monsters first no matter where they are positioned. Which comes in really handy during battle.

Then in the 5th position, I used the UNDEAD BADGER. It's a common death monster from the untamed unit. It's a monster that uses melee attacking ability to damage its opponents and it costs 2 mana caps only to use in battle. This monster has a good attacking speed including the sneak ability. This ability helps this monster to attack the opponent cards from the end of the line. And it really helps in wiping out the enemy from their weakest parts.

And then in the end I used the SOUL STRANGLER which is a rare death unit from the chaos legion edition. As a ranged attacking monster, it's better to be used in the end and that's what I did. Also, it costs a little number of mana caps (3) to use in battle, and yet it has a good damaging ability (2).

It was all about my lineup and also about the reasons to put each card in its position including the abilities of the cards.

Strategy

In this battle my strategy was to hold the attacks using the CURSED WINDEKU by the time my sneak and snipe attacking monsters will kill the opponent's monsters. My strategy worked and I won the battle.

The question may have already appeared that I’m writing a post to join some contest. But where are the details about the contest?

Here are the details.

There amazing thing is ongoing in this blockchain for almost 3 years maybe and I'm a part of it for more than 2 years. So, it's not something new but I think there's still someone who doesn't know about it or isn't a part of it yet.

This amazing thing is the ongoing contest of splinterlands. By now I guess most of you know what SPLINTERLANDS is. It's an online card game. Though it's not only a game, in here you can earn by playing, trade by buying and selling. You will also get amazing rewards in the daily quests and also in season-ending quests. This is one of the best card games that I've ever played. The fun thing is, there are a lot of cards/monsters to use in battle. And when I say a lot, I mean it. And all of them have their own specialty, separate types of powers and so many types of special abilities. There are even some summoners under those the cards play. These summoners also have their own ability which affects the battlefield. This is really amazing. This gives you the chance to think of hundreds of strategies for your battle. Believe me, once you start playing this game you'll fall in love with it.

All of these are my personal opinion about @splinterlands and their contest. And if you find it interesting, you are welcome to join SPLINTERLANDS. I'm also putting my referral link to make it easy for you to join if you want. There are already some people who joined splinterlands using my refer. You’re also welcome to join.

My Referral Link To Splinterlands

And my today's post is to join this week's contest of Social media challenge arranged by the @splinterlands team. To join this contest you'll need to create a post where you'll need to share a battle of yours which you should play by the rules that are given in the contest. After creating your post and posting it on this blockchain, you'll need to share it on any social media and put both your post link and the link from the social media on the comment section of the announcement post of this week's contest. You'll need to follow up on these things to perfectly join this amazing contest. I'm also putting the link to this week's contest below in case you want to join it.

I really hope that you enjoyed reading my post and also enjoyed my battle. And as always it felt good to share my opinion about something with everyone. I'll be back among you all soon with another battle of mine to share it. So, stay tuned guys.
See you again in my next post. Till then stay happy, stay healthy. Take care. Also, stay at home and use a mask whenever you go outside. Because the second wave of covid-19 has started already and it's going to be more dangerous than ever. Good Bye.

Thank you for your precious time and afford to read my post.

You will also get amazing rewards in the daily quests and also in season-ending quests.

This was true a few years ago. Nowadays not so. Nowadays players mostly earn Alchemy and Legendary potion charges. Cards are very rare. I still remember earning at least one reward card per day for completing the daily quests. But nowadays you need luck to earn a card.

I am playing Splinterlands since 2018.12.30.

Good luck and have fun.

Well, I'm playing since June 2019 and I agree with you that the rewards that we now get are nothing compared to before. But, I'm still thankful to splinterlands for what I get. And potions or credits may not be as useful/valuable as cards. Still, they come to at least a little help. And I actually like playing this game, so I'm happy with whatever I get. Rewards or not, I'll play it and I think something is better than nothing. So, I personally don't have any complaints.

Anyway, thanks for passing by.

Have a good day.
