📖 Introduction

I believe it is important to track your progress and strategize in Splinterlands so here is my report covering battle performance, earnings, rewards and market activity.

This season I chose to stay completely in Modern and as you can see I have achieved my all time record ranking this season going deep into the Champion One territory in the Modern League.

Interestingly my win rate actually dipped from last season, must be all that battling of top scholars in Champion 2 and Champion one:

Overall I feel like I had a great season so let's dive into the details!

This season was really good in terms of my performance, I believe that I have unlocked Champion Two and One earlier than usual and as a result spent a lot of time facing the top scholars which definitely affected my win rate.

As you can see I have finished at a 51st place on the Modern Champion Leaderboard, that is pretty amazing, considering that if you exclude scholars AKA professional Splinterlands players I would have placed 17th on the Modern Champion Leaderboard so in the top twenty best Splinterlands players. Even if we don't exclude scholars, but just remove duplicate scholar accounts from the consideration that means I would be in the top forty Splinterlands players!

On the Survival Leaderboard I placed at number 4 in the fifth bracket which is modern max level cards.

As it has been the case my main source of SPS rewards remained ranked play at 6,464.448 tokens earned. which is about 220+ SPS tokens more than the block validation rewards at 6,216.68. And a distant third is SPS staking rewards. And brawl reward were at 236.448 which is basically a difference between Modern and Block validation. SPS rewards from brawl even in tier five brawls became a non-factor, that need to be changed!

Also, despite my great performance and record rating I have not been able to achieve record SPS rewards for the season as you can see from the chart above. I did come close to the record earnings at 18.22K SPS tokens earned which is my third best result ever. Number one was in season 179 at 18.5K and number two was in season 183 at 18.36K SPS tokens earned.

Merit earnings remained in the mid range area as I didn't even buy the second tranche of Merits, because there is currently no used case for those in the game for me with my Gladiator cards being fully maxed out.

My Glint earnings on the other hand have reached over a million Glint tokens per season for the first time ever!

I believe this was achieved thanks to the Leaderboard positions, playing in a higher Champion Leagues this season as I have started in Champion Three and by leaderboard prizes.

Also, I have received a 250,000 Glint bonus from Splinterlands for completing a Survival Survey.

When it comes to Vouchers there is nothing new here really and the main source of my Vouchers is clearly SPS staking rewards which I have 833,802 SPS staked with more being staked every day:

As you can see I have got a total of eleven Epic cards and one legendary card, but this is really nothing to write home about and that is why I am considering purchasing legendary draws this season.

Closing notes

It is surprising but I found myself at the top of the remaining Splinterlands players. I guess you can have a non-complete Modern deck and be in the top fifty on the Modern Champion Leaderboard. A suggestion to the team it would be cool to have an option to display the Modern Champion Leaderboard without scholars so that it is easy to see where you rank on the leaderboard if professional players are excluded.
