Pulled Three Gold Foil Legendary Cards! - Champion Season Report

This season I was finally able to pull in a gold foil legendary and not only a gold foil legendary, but I was lucky to pull three gold foil legendary cards in my season rewards. Three gold foil legendary immediately took me to a level three gold foil legendary that is playable right away even in the Diamond and Champion leagues. I got three Musa Saline in this pull and it is now just one gold foil card away from the max level. In the past I was also able to pull three gold foil legendary copies of Iziar. So now if I get just one gold foil of either of those cards I would be at a max level for these two legendary monsters.

In terms of performance I was able to reach Champion Three in both Wild and Modern leagues. Spreading over two leagues caused me not to rise as high in the rating as I did last season. Last season I was able to reach Champion Two with a rating of 4028 in Modern league, but this was due to me focusing only on the modern league.

My win loss ratio in Wild this season was 1.01 which is better than my win loss ratio of 0.86 in Modern last season. But in modern my win loss ratio was only 0.78 which is slightly worse than last season. I believe this is because I played in Modern in the beginning of the season when the competition was very stiff and then switched to a more easy Wild in the second half of the season.

I got less reward cards this season: 197 regular foil and 11 gold foil compared to last season of 217 regular foil and 13 gold foil cards. But due to a lucky pull of three gold foil legendary monsters I believe I was a lot more lucky this season!

Overall my SPS earnings this season were better than last season at 2500 SPS compared to 2356 SPS last season. I saw improved earnings in each of the categories with the exception of the slight drop from 487 SPS to 468 SPS in the liquidity pools. My top earning category was once again Ranked rewards at 950 SPS which is up from 875 SPS last season. My second reward category was Staking Rewards at 633 SPS compared to 573 SPS last season. Third ranked was the liquidity pool rewards.

My top earning category was Ranked Rewards. It can be further broken down into SPS from chests which was 352 and SPS from ranked play wins at 597 SPS. So I didn't get very lucky with my season and daily chests in terms of SPS. For reference my last season SPS rewards in my chests were slightly better at 401 SPS. Well it is just a matter of time when I get a really big SPS drop in my Champion chests!

This is a great season I made some great progress with my soul bound reward cards!
