I love the weekly SHARE YOUR BATTLE Challenge because I get to learn more about how to win on the Spilnterlands battlefield from others. In the end, it really boils down to winning battles so that one earns the precious DEC.

So THANK YOU to all who make the time and effort to participate in this challenge, and share your "secrets" and winning strategies! I appreciate you all.

The Featured Monster

CHILD OF THE FOREST is a new Monster to join my Earth Splinter Team.

It is an Untamed edition, Rare Monster with Range abilities of Snipe at its current level 3 (Snare at level 5).

I love that Child of the Forest has a low mana of 3 and thus usable for the entire range of battle mana caps. At level 3, it has a fast Speed of 5.

My Child of the Forest monster currently has a Health of 3 which is increased by +1 when using Earth Summoner Lyanna Natura. It has a Range Attack of 2 which is average in most battles in my league.

The Ruleset

• Battle Mana Cap: 48
• All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability
• All Monsters have the Knock Out ability

The Strategy

WINNING STRATEGY: Not the strength of the individual monster but the synergy created by the TEAM of MONSTERS was key to winning this battle.

BATTLE STRATEGY:

• Utilize only offensive monsters that can attack from back line positions.
• Field the fastest speed Monsters with the greatest health possible.
• Follow a sequence of : Melee Monsters first two positions, followed by one or 2 Magic monsters, then complete the lineup with Range monsters in the last positions, as I would any Standard Battle Rule.
• Positiion a Monster with high health on the last position to absorb all hits from enemy Monsters with theSneak ability.

The Lineup

BATTLE Using Child of the Forest: Please click the photo to watch the battle.

Summoner: Lyanna Natura, L3- Adds +1 Health to all friendly Monsters.

1. Nectar Queen- A fast and strong common Monster with high health of 12 +1, and Flying ability to evade attacks from Melee and Range Monsters that do not have the flying ability.

2. Sand Worm- Another strong common Monster with a health of 5 +1. It has the Sneak ability which targets the last Monster on the enemy team.

3. Spirit Miner- A legendary Magic attack Monster that targets the first enemy position with 6 +1 health, fast speed, and has the ability to dodge melee and range attacks, and provides a buff of increased speed to all my Monsters because of its Swiftness ability.

4. CHILD OF THE FOREST- The featured monster, it has the Snipe ability and can attack any enemy monster. In this battle, it had the most number of kills! I place it right in middle of the lineup because it had the least Health of 3 +1.

5. Mitica Headhunter- Another fast and strong epic Range attack Monster and will attack EVERY position in the lineup at the back positions. In this battle,you will see this Range Monster focused on attacking the enemy tank! It has the Snare ability that will remove the flying ability of an enemy monster, but did not need to use this ability because the featured monster Child of the Forest eliminated the only flying monster in the enemy team.

6. Kron The Undying- I positioned this legendary Magic attack Monster at the end of the lineup to absorb all hits from enemy monsters with sneak attacks. It has a high health of 10 +1, plus the Heal ability and can restore a portion of its health each round. It targets the first position in the enemy team lineup.

The Battle Result

I won this battle in two rounds, with my entire team intact!💪

My strategy worked perfectly as planned.

I had 4 Monsters attacking the enemy first position[Nectar Queen, Spirit Miner, Mitica Headhunter, and Kron the Undying] one Monster attacking the enemy monster on the last position [Sand Worm], and the feature Monster Child of the Forest monster with the Snipe ability attack the enemy monster on the second position.

In contrast, each and all of the enemy team Monsters attacked only my Monster in the first position.

Enemy Monsters were eliminated one by one from the first, middle, and end positions, with the Child of the Forest taking down the most number monsters in the enemy team.

Once again, the WINNING STRATEGY: Not the strength of the individual monster but the synergy created by the TEAM of MONSTERS... was key to winning this battle.
