💥 Company Updates 💥

Roadmap V3:

  • Modern/Wild Phase 1 has been moved infront of the Tech Modernization
    • Currently testing internally
    • ETA for Modern/Wild release should be around end of July or early August

Splinterlands = Multi-Game Platform:

  • Team is working with another game studio to build a new game on the Splinterlands platform
    • Studio will be attending future townhalls and request community feedback for the new game design/concepts
    • Studio will be doing all the development; Splinterlands will be supporting via Splinterlands blockchain platform
  • Team loves the ideal of giving Splinterlands assets more utility by possibly integrating them into other games
    • Not official as details are being worked out with the studio, but that is the team's goal
  • More information should be released in the next few weeks

Creative Updates:

  • Creative team is actively working on bringing assets to life with 3D and animations
    • However, team is being cautious as 3D and animations take up a lot of resources
    • Team is innovating different ways to bring the game to life through your browser
  • Team is on the final stages for the Wild badges (See Eye Candy)
    • Wanted to apply a sense of magic into the Wild badges style

Marketing Updates:

  • SnapChat ads are starting this week
  • Google ads have been unpaused and should be continuing
  • Team is working on a website for Splinterfest
    • Should have more information on this in the next week or two
  • Security team has removed 200+ social media accounts that were trying to impersonate the team and profiles


  • Brawl Townhall happening Friday, June 24th at 5PM EST
  • Team plans on Modern/Wild having a big impact on Tournaments and participation

Splinterlands TV:

  • Stream team is up to 53 streamers now!
  • Watching the stream on Splinterlands TV rewards you with points that you can redeem for a variety of things:
    • Two shoutouts to the awesome viewers of oL0RDo and jmpards3!
  • Stream team has a weekly streamer spotlight where there are Chaos Legion pack giveaways

  • Roadmap V3 has been officially released (See Roadmap section above)
  • Non-Card market should come after Modern/Wild is released
    • Modern/Wild is estimated for end of July/early August


  • Land workers will basically be staked on Land to work it, they won't be burned
  • Nate's vision - Enter building and view your worker spots and an artifact spot
    • Artifact spot will allow totems to be used on the plot
    • Totems will provide some type of boost to the plot
  • Land is expected to be integrated in the mobile app, but it will take some time after it is released via desktop
  • Land rarity and type will be completely random (RNG)
    • Meaning there won't be fixed supply caps on rarities or types of Land

Mobile App:

  • Team has a partner working on updates to the mobile app
  • Team requests the updates and the partner makes the developments

Ranked Rewards:

  • New ranked rewards system is still actively being analyzed by the team for improvements
    • To reiterate, goal of the Ranked Reward system is to increase the ROI as you climb to higher leagues
    • Also, team is always looking to make card assets more valuable by giving them more utility
  • Currently, majority of players make up the lowest leagues (Bronze/Silver)
    • This is very common within all games
    • This is a big reason why the game rewards players at higher levels to try to incentivize more players to invest for the higher earnings
  • Current changes under consideration:
    • Season rating reset
    • Daily focus and expanding to more focuses
    • RShare formula and starter card reductions

SPT Interoperability:

  • No current plans on integrating SPT more into Splinterlands
  • Team would love to add utility to SPT, however, it isn't a priority as of now


  • Splinterfest ticket prices should be finalized and released in the next couple of days
    • Team plans on allowing DEC/SPS to be used to buy tickets
  • Other group accomodations should be released once finalized too

Team is working with another game studio to build a new game on the Splinterlands platform

At the very least, this should act as additional marketing for @splinterlands It is better if they do incorporate NFTs or even just DEC for the game. More eyes and attention we get, the better it is for the HODLers.

As for 3D assets, I think they are overrated. A good art style can make a game age well while even the best 3D assets of an era can look outdated in a matter of years. More 2.5D art and occasional 3D animation should do the trick. I love good graphics. Yet as an investor, I would rather see the team work on bigger priorities.


It is a great time to be involved in Splinterlands.

Definitely excited for the future of Splinterlands!



Would be great if they could find the funding to do a MOBA style game like LoL or DOTA. I would totally re-up for something like that if it also used Splinterlands assets (sans Credits).
