Splinterlands Packs Selling Fast, Here Are Some Reasons
I think most of us are pretty surprised to see the next Airdrop so fast. I think I know some of the reasons and I am sharing that with you. There are just a lot more ways to make some profit in the game right now and people are getting into it. I had made a video about the season rewards but lost it when the computer PSU failed and lost the extra drive that I had my videos on. Still, this was fun to make. Heh, I've been one of the people flipping packs over on WAX just to work on my Drop rates, and to try to get up to Maverick status easier :D Hopefully will get a Lobster this time, as I've missed out of the rest of the past drops.
Also, man, that's a ton of Aether per hour! I've got some stuff from DygCon staked, and picked up a set of the Horror cards, but I'm only getting a few WAX per day. Still, it is nice to get paid for just having the card.
Cryptogames are showing so much promise already.

Hoping for a lobster this airdrop, but chances are pretty slim I guess
So this is a dumb question, and I'm thinking my strategy has been wrong here.
If I were to invest another $100 USD into this game, would you spend that money on legendary summoners? Or would you buy a bunch of Untamed Packs? I've been trying to grow my cards through rewards only for a bit, and using cash to buy land, but thinking that is not the right strategy. Thx !
Right now for new cards, the market is still cheaper to level your cards than packs. But packs have the chance of paying for themselves. If you pull one gold foil epic or legendary card worth a lot it is like you got the rest for free. So really it depends on what you want to do. Gamble and level-up cars slow till you hit a big one or just level up the cards you want on the market for a good cost per card. I mean rares for under 0.50 means a pack with one of those is a big loss. I don't suggest buying packs with 100 because you don't get the bonus save for 200 to get the free 10 packs or buy single cards if the goal is to level up.
