After starting a new job I withdrew from Steemit and Splinterlands for a while to fully focus on my career and personal development. My initial focus was into Network Administrator roles but a position opened up for Application Developer and I jumped at the chance!
Splinterlands
I joined from the very start and loved the idea of playing a collectible card game using Steem thats both competitive and addictive. Finding out the increase of cards and a mobile friendly version I was pleasantly surprised how much its changed and improved from the last time i played it!

Playing again - I remember a thing or two
After learning there was a mobile friendly version - I instantly jumped on it and found it much easier to have many more games than on my desktop.
Getting to Silver III was fun and i was adamant to climb up another league before claiming victory! I'm starting to find my usual teams and 7 win streak is my max at the moment - slightly favouring Death and my one and only Lord of Darkness.
New Cards are unknown to me still!
I joined from when it started and tried to collect as many alpha cards as possible but ever since stopping there are SO many new cards with awesome design - I can't possible collect them all.
And just a chicken left...
I find using Lord of Darkness as a full tank with the Spineback gets good quick damage and protects the rest of the hand. The Boogeymans slow ability stacked with the Undead Priest do help in negating the enemies range and keeps the LOD in the game for longer.
Using the same hand again even against a strong enemy tank provides a good level of coverage and chance of success!
Two new cards to add to my deck - Hurrah!
- Does anyone have a strategy for Peaceful cards like the warrior of peace?

Welcome to Silver II
I've joined a few free events and will save for some more paid ones with DEC - Its quite addictive climing the leagues and having favourite cards.
- What teams are you favouring and card selection?
- Are there any guilds recruiting and how do they work?
- Does anyone know if there are any discord livechats scheduled for events?
- Is there any plans to add a Deck Library - Configuring your deck based on the cost?
