Community Engagement Challenge: Inaugural Land Card Edition

Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. Today's topic is on the Inaugural Land Card. And yes, finally another update for land. It's been a while since we had an update for land. And with this new update, it is not surprising that land cost start to go up as people get more interested in land once again.

Inaugural Land Card Edition

What are these card? In a very simple terms, these are cards that are crafted from the land resources which can either modify or enhance land plots over time.

Materials such as grain, wood, stone and iron that land owners are familiar with will be used for the crafting and a new type of resource, Cinder, is being introduced. This resource is generated by burning cards from our collection. These cards essentially are being sacrificed to becomes the fuel, in order to provide boost to plot production and other land systems.

And this will make the ecosystem of burning, resource sink sustainable for long term productivity instead of infinitely "printing" which will devalue the price of current assets. With this new introduction, land no longer exist just to producing resources.

Similar to archons (summoners in the past) and units we use in our battles, these land cards do have their individual rarities like common, rare, epic and legendary.

In terms of cards to be mined, there will be one hundred and twenty five thousands of them. Of which the rarity will denote how much each are being minted:

Legendary - 1,000
Epic - 6,000
Rare - 18,000
Common - 100,000

Do note that these cards can be crafted within three months or until all copies of them are being minted. Do also note that it takes a lot of Cinder to craft cards depending on their rarities. The Cinder requirements for crafting the cards are as follows:

Legendary - 37,500 Cinder
Epic - 5,625 Cinder
Rare - 1,875 Cinder
Common - 375 Cinder

The Cards

Different from cards that we use in battles, these land cards do not come with stats but they do come with abilities to boost production and discounts. Do also note that these cards are exclusively as Land workers and require a worker slot.

There is an ability common to all land cards which is Labor's luck that provides a chance to discover a Gold Foil, Gold Foil Arcane, Black Foil or Black Foil Arcane land card during plot harvest.

Tireless Farmhand - Common

At maxed level, Tireless Farmhand provides a 60% boost to grain production, 30% less rationing and 50% dark discount.

Kinbound Druid - Rare

At maxed level, Kinbound Druid provides a dark discount of 99%, 30% to toil and kin and 70% boost to wood production.

Toiling Ox - Epic

At maxed level, Toiling Ox provides an 80% boost to grain and 85% to stone production, 20% to toil and kin and dark discount of 80%.

Undying Miner - Legendary

At maxed level, Undying Miner provides an 100% boost to iron and aura production, 30% to toil and kin and dark discount of 99%.

Each of these cards boost different resource type and to ensure you have balanced production, it will be better if you have all of them though that will mean loads of cards needs to be burned to generate enough Cinder to craft them. The design of these cards look really awesome.
