I am slowly selling some of my Splinterlands assets because of the poor rewards, plus a few photos from the dawn today (2022.08.21)
I sold more than 5000 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) in the previous few days. And slowly I also sell my Splinterlands cards. I will put it in properly rewarding things. For example in Hive Power and in Hive Dollar (HBD) savings.
Today I received a Gargoya Lion card (currently worth $0.01 USD) and an Ever-Hungry Skull card (currently worth $0.01 USD). These cards are so worthless that they are not even worth to sell. Probably I will give them away.
It is absolutely not worth it to spend many hours playing Splinterlands every day literally for two cents. This is time wasting. Our time worth much more. At least mine is.
I am still building my SPT and SPS holdings, so I am not selling those in the near future.
Staking SPS currently gives 33.41% APR interest, which is very good.
Currently I have 11 400 staked SPT, and I am currently delegating all of it to @monster-curator, which gives very various returns from around 3 SPT per day to around 11 SPT per day.
Today I do not have any update about my housing situation, but probably tomorrow I will. To keep my relative calmness, I share three photos I took today dawn in Szolnok, Hungary. Somehow taking photos, and watching them gives me calm, relaxed feeling.
The first photo is about a church, near the bus station.
The other two photos are mostly about tree silhouettes around the streets.
If you prefer black and white, then I upload the black and white versions too. This is probably better because of the silhouettes.

I have not heard about this so far. Thank you for the advice. I checked, and the website is predicted 159.946 DEC / 655.009 DEC rent for today. I see that its have a dashboard, so probably it is providing detailed statistics about our Splinterlands card leasing. I will try it out at least for a short time.

This depends. My entire owned Splinterlands card collection is currently worth around $132.64 USD. This is a lot of money to many people, while it is a small amount to some people. I know there are Splinterlands players with card collections worth $10 000 USD.

As for selling assets... its hard but try deciding to sell the next day after a good sleep. It makes a world of difference no matter how small or how big the asset is.

I will try the automatic card leasing instead of selling on https://splex.gg. Maybe it is better in long term than selling the cards.
Yes~ and then as time go just think about it again. Usually these are time to actually gather than sell
I have rented my cards and earning DEC on them. Though the renting is not regular but random DEC adds up as I have reduced playing so the passive DEC earning helps. What's your focus now that DEC is kind of devalued, do you see SPS staking a future direction? I personally feel that a direction :)
I am staking all of my SPS since the beginning of the SPS airdrop. I have not sold any SPS so far. I even bought some SPS during the SPS airdrop, when SPS was around $0.10 USD. Currently it is $0.058 USD, but I hope that it will be better in the future. Nowadays it gives a very good interest. Currently 33.39% APR. As long as it gives more than 20% APR, I think that it is good. If it go below that, then I would rather put it into Hive Dollars (HBD) savings.
Do what you gotta do bro. Plenty of ways to make a good percentage.

Yes. There are many good options. It is somewhat sad that nowadays the playing Splinterlands is not amongst these good options.

I have levelled up the Gargoya lion but it still feels useless. I intend to read it up as it seems people are making a lot of fun and money from it too

I have not leveled it up, but I think the same about it. I do not even remember, when was the last time, when I used it in a battle.
Most of my cards are level 1, but I have level 2-3 card delegations, including summoners.

Mostly Bronze I-II-III, rarely Silver III.

Being an investor in the game through SPS rewards is still a great and more passive way to take part in #splinterlands actully a smart one I think.
I agree. The SPS currently gives 33.51% APR interest. Nowadays I have around 730 staked SPS. I stake all of my SPS since the beginning of the SPS airdrop. I keep staking it at least in the near future.

I think if you have DEC and SPS try the game's diesel pools and stake your tokens as liquidity for better returns than HBD.
Anyway, the game goes on and off. I see the streets are calm and sky is slightly clouded. Those Streetlights are making up the evening atmosphere more magical and fantasy.

Currently I do not have DEC (I sold it all), but I have staked SPS. I will take a look at this. If everything goes right, then I try the automatic card leasing service on Splex.GG in the upcoming days (I already sent a message to GenepoolChlrn8r on Discord).
You'll find pools in Dashboard. I guess there are around 6 Hive based pools and some other ones. You can even give it a try even if you have 10 DEC and equivalent SPS or Hive on TribalDex.

I prefer to just rent them out and I also think the rewards are kind of poor. I am just sticking myself in Silver without advancing my league because I don't want to suffer like last season.
