Welcome to this weeks Share Your Battle Challenge.
This week is all about the Life Splinter card Cave Slugs. My least favorite Splinter is Life so this should be fun. I didn't like Water either until I was forced to use them in a SYB challenge and developed a strategy with them. Will I find a strategy that works? Will I end up loving Life splinters? Lets find out.

Team:

Silvershield Knight

I chose Silvershield Knight as my Tank because of his Inspire Ability. The Inspire Ability gives all friendly Monsters +1 Melee attack. I guess now that I'm typing it out, I see how he could be used as a Support role instead. He has average Health at 5 and only 1 Shield. He makes up for his lack of power with an above average Speed of 4.

Cave Slug

This guy is actually pretty interesting. For 5 Mana you get 4 Health, 2 Melee, and 1 Speed. That might not sound good but he also has the Opportunity Ability which allows him to Attack from any position and Attack the weakest Monster. It's always nice having a Monster that can pick off weak supports on the Enemys team. I really like this card.

Furious Chicken

ZERO Mana for a chump blocker? Sure. Throw him right in.
Any where.
Any team.
Any time.

Herbalist

I chose to include Herbalist because of the low Mana cost. I don't like using Ranged that much because of their vulnerability to the front line. Incase you didn't know, a Ranged attacker cannot attack in the first position. For 2 Mana though I didn't think it would hurt to try. On a side note, the art is really cool!

Enemy:

Living Lava

Conclusion

Alright, so that was an epic fail. I played quite a few matches trying to get a win with the Cave Slug but I couldn't pull it off. My daily quest also just so happend to be getting 5 wins with the Life Splinter. Needless to say, I refreshed it for a new quest. I just can't seem to knock out wins with the Life Splinters. If anyone has a guide they've made for lower level strategys feel free to link me below in the comments and i'll check it out. For now I am just skipping Life Splinter missions whenever they come up. I really like the tanky support feel i get from them I just can't seem to make a good team out of them. Not sure if I am putting TOO MUCH support or not. I don't know, that's all I have in me for this week. Thank you for watching and I hope you got some entertainment out of seeing me lose. Not sure if anyone was expecting that one haha.

The repair ability with life splinter goes very far! I can lease you a repair card so you can play around with it but repair is crucial with life splinter in lower levels. It brings the armor back and you end up killing them very easily if they don’t have a card with piercing. Even with piercing it still helps to get back the 2 armor.
