Time To Look At My Silver Values
Today's price on silver is still a lovely sight for my eyes. I started my stacking journey with silver around the £18 mark give or take.
My first rounds did cost me well over spot but I am still massively up on the values so over all this year is still doing very well for me.
I've decided that it's time to start tracking the precious metals movements in the same way I do my Crypto movements.
Unlike crypto, silver is an asset that I will not be selling unless I am desperate in my life. I plan to pass the silver assets onto my children once they each turn 18 years old. A 50/50 split between the both of them.
I am only counting my full .999 silver coins and small bars in this value blog solely for the reason it's much easier to track than my part silver coins.
Currently I sit at 8 x 1oz coins and 3 x 1 gram bars. For ease of future tracking, I have converted these to grams to make life easier now and into the future.
226.796 grams of .999 silver, gives me the value of £174.71 or $222.44 if you want to go down the Dollar route.
In the past few weeks I have actually been looking into gold as a potential buy in the future, but I am unsure on how to really approach this. Due to the rather large cost differences between silver and gold, it is something that I feel I need a lot more time to look into.
Though I do prefer the look of silver over gold any day.
On to a future of silver values going through the roof and making my kids rich!

With gold being near all-time-highs it is getting difficult to get into gold under reasonable premiums. I've been trying to maintain a stacking ratio of 100 ounces of silver for every ounce of gold since I began stacking, I understand that the premiums are markedly higher but I started into 1/4 oz gold Maples and only if there was a Dealer discount. Sometimes a half ounce, it depends how much cash reserves I have in my Emergency funds.
Yea. This is why I concentrated on silver.
It just made more sense to me
