Rising Star, Splinterlands DICE / SPS, and KOGs unboxing

No one will believe this but I have gotten another Legendary Gold Splinterlands card, this makes 3 in the last month. Well one day over a month because I got it this morning on the first. To celebrate that win I visited a couple other favorite collections & bought packs from them Rising Star, as well as Kogs.

Todays write up will be exploring these collections and why I pay close attention to each of them. I will also try & explain why Dice packs are so important addressing why I open them at these steep prices.

Rising Star

NFT collections displaying certain characteristics such as consistent improvements tend to get my attention. Any colection not on a hold while its being designed, something built by updating gradually over a functional model.
This is important as the general public is fickle and doesn't wait long for short term investors this isn't great.

Rising Star poses the unique title in my NFT colection of being my $0 input colection which is completely possible, takes a little time but its fairly neat once you get into it. Now my account just generates continual profit which is what I buy packs with.

Since I got lucky on Splinterlands packs and had some extra STARBITS when I logged in and seen this quote from the game.
"It's a new month on Sunday which means lots of new cards including a legendary!"
Figure try for two legendary cards in one morning so here's my pack results from rising star.

Not bad but no legendary but 1 Rare NFT Laney these all add fans to my account making higher levels easier. This allowed me to progress in the game giving me more STARBITS for every mission.

KOGs

Many have forgotten this colection and this is at their own peril KOGs has both a new game almost functional & they have unsurpassed NFT colection staking. A few changes from series 2 staking namely its now on BSC as is the game integration.

Now many of you who may not understand the significance of Blockchain games that pair to BSC for their game. If BSC pairs to something like Alien Worlds, & Splinterlands they tend to explode in popularity.

So given these conditions are met in KOGs here's the last test has the game or colection had a higher price point.

The answer to this is a resounding yes I have personally sold KOGs for hundreds of dollars in USD this was before they even upgraded.

I wont ignore anything that has made me this much money and they appear to be gearing up for a similar price increase.

The Staking happens when you complete a colection & add them to a tube this tube is then staked. Making a Tube will require many of the KOGS in the same type but not exactly the same. This is what drives the NFT prices up the need to complete a colection which can be staked for RFOX trading at the current price of $0.04 USD at time of writing.

I'm an alpha tester of their mobile game and they finally started allowing players to link their colection in game to a BSC wallet. Meaning they are getting very close to a public launch on their mobile game. KOGS NFTS will be used for both the Game and Staking but right now neither are active this is a window for investors.

Now that I explained all that this is why I bought the new 12 count booster pack as they just went on sale.

Unboxing

Not great results but the point is to get a diverse colection the two on the tail end are called slammers which are a essential component of the game.

These special packs are still on sale while WAX is high so they would be cheap if you bought in at a lower price like $0.11 USD for WAX as appose to $0.14 which is a little high.

Dice packs

What in the hell is going on now I got 3 Legendary gold cards in the last month, I know no one will believe this but I got 2 of these in a 2 week span.

2nd lens master & even opening packs at their current price no less, why would I open dice packs at this price? Simple its odds basically the Dice packs have the best odds currently.

With a total of 24 normal and gold card the dice packs have only 12 common cards out of 48 a little under 1/4. A rare card garneted to be in a pack sells for $1.30 minimum and $9 max of which there are 12 total. the other cards are 6 Epic rarity minimum cost $2 max 4. With the remaining 18 cards being legendary
this is the key due to the newly released Airdrop cards the legendary card count is the highest in the whole colection.

Though not as expensive they are more expensive then a pack or two so I gamble by buying them when the prices dropped. It pays off look I have gotten $1,400 USD in cards in a month doing this with only putting in $85 roughly all together.

See this is a more likely outcome then that gold card and still a major win at $89 to a $15 input its probable to see this outcome and its really good odds of getting one of these.

Much more common and it pays for 1/2 a pack and potion price together Dice packs are fewer in number then you would first assume.

Including all unopened Dice packs together you have 87,000 Dice packs all together to open including the game market.

Meanwhile you have 120,000 Untamed packs left to open all together there is almost 1.5x the number of untamed packs to open & they have worse odds but higher prices per card.

What this means is soon the Dice packs will be in very short supply and they are the best odds over all. So as they say in the movies smoke em if you got em, I of course keep a minimum number in my accounts due to the fact the prices will jump again.

Besides I make so much more airdrop points from a good colection then I do from packs, this is key for DEC generation as well the most return for playing is linked to the value of your cards.

Now that SPS has the staking ability kicking off I would highly recommend you reference their white paper again.

See that interest rate its insane I know it will lower but staking SPS in game is fairly awesome thus far. Not that it will get a vote but a nice ROI none the less please consider checking this white paper as the delegation and Vote of SPS on the various blockchains is different.

White papers hold all the answers for theses systems so understanding the finer points is a must at least for me.

Method to the madness

I make investments in Blockchain projects I research to the best of my ability, going so far as to be an alpha tester in KOGS case. This method of getting a better understanding of the project as a whole what's happening and why. So when peculiar situations present them selves, I know before the rest of the market, & I try and share the info but its sometimes the matter of hours.

So My madness isn't so mad it just takes a great deal of reading & better understanding of crypto integrations and projects as a whole. Combine this with thorough research into market trends and overall demand of the same colection.

Number of users overall trade volume highest lowest price duration the project has existed all key factors. Basically the more you know the further you go especially when Blockchain Games and NFTs are concerned.


NFT projects with staking and crypto generating functions seem to be popular at the moment especially when the crypto has a tied in burn use case. I know Splinterlands isn't quite there but it will be soon with land plots and the SPS airdrop functions similarly.

Prospectors topping the NFT sale value for 3 days now also a free to play game check it out at the link below.
