"Gold" league strategy using double "Reflection Shield" [EN-ES] 🎮

Since about a month ago I haven't published a battle strategy, so, the time has come to do it, the first strategy of 2023, besides, this one is special because I tried a combination that I had never tried before and that I really wanted to take to the battlefield with the right set of rules to test its potential, to my surprise, the strategy worked perfectly and the most incredible thing is that it can beat "Bizantine Kitty" using one of my favorite "Water Splinter" summoners, the great "Valnamor".

I will try to make this post a little more dynamic and to the point, I will not give many detours, but, I hope you pay close attention and read the whole post, because for this specific set of rules that I played, I took a little risk, you need space in the amount of mana to use, but if all the requirements are met, the chances of winning will be very high and this is what we all seek.

To make it easier, I will start by discussing the set of rules and finally, I will follow with some recommendations needed to be able to replicate this training, besides the strategy itself, so, just enjoy it....

Set of rules

This set of rules that I got is special and I really like to play it, because in a way we can predict only with the rules of battle, with which cards could play our opponent, in that sense, the rules that I got for this battle are as follows:

Counterspell:

We all know what this battle rule does and how it affects the cards we play, but, for those newer to the game I will explain it, so, what this battle rule does is to give all the monsters on the field the ability called "Magic Reflect", this means that, all the cards that have a "Magic" attack, will be in serious trouble, since their attacks in any direction will be returned.

In this rule what we should commonly do, is to use another type of attack, such as melee or distance, however, just as we think about playing with this type of cards and attack, our opponent will also do it, so we must think very well what cards to play and how we will do to counter those attacks of our opponent's cards, or at least reduce as much as possible the damage received.

Explosive Weaponry:

This battle rule is very simple to understand, what it does is to give all the cards on both sides of the field the ability called "Blast", which causes adjacent damage to the monsters that are right next to the target monster attack. So, this is a rule that exponentially increases the damage in all directions where our monsters and the opponent's monsters attack, in that sense, you can imagine which is the only ability in the game that can counteract it, so the strategy of this battle is based on it.

Before I begin, I will share the image of what my battle was like and just below is the link so you can see it:

Recommendations

To start with the recommendations, I must highlight the amount of mana available for this battle, being the same of 32 points, which, in my case I used exactly this amount, so, my recommendation to replicate the formation, is to take into account the same amount or higher.
If you saw the previous image, I recommend having a good battle tank with at least more than 10 life points, this is to give enough time to the rest of our team to attack and destroy the most dangerous cards of our opponent.
The type of attack on which we must focus can be two, in my case use the melee, but you can try the ranged attack, however, it is imperative that we have at least one card with the ability "Opportunity", another card with the ability "Sneak", is not den all necessary that we place one with "Reach", but it can work.
Finally, we must use a card that has the "Stun" and/or Shield abilities, I used "Cyclops", but, you can use another one that fulfills these same functions, the faster the better, although, my "Cyclops" only had 2 points of speed, but, they were enough to stop the strongest card of my opponent.

Strategy

The battle strategy I used was very simple and before setting up my formation, I thought about every single detail of the battle, taking into account that my opponent would not play with "Magic" attacks, since he would be seriously affected and even if I used them with some cards that could heal his monsters from such damage, my cards with the "Opportunity" ability would do the job to defeat them, my cards with the "Opportunity" ability would do the job to defeat them, so, I must accept that my opponent played well, as he focused on the same type of attack and the same abilities that I focused on.

The only difference and what I focused on was that I placed 2 cards with the "Reflection Shield" ability, placing them exactly in the 2nd position and in the penultimate position, since I knew that my opponent would at least use a card with the "Sneak" ability to try to defeat my formation from behind, But, with my "Reflection Shield" in the penultimate position and in addition, my great "Cyclops" and his ability "Shield", managed to significantly decrease the damage received, which could protect my main cards in the attack as "Deeplurker and Pelacor Bandit".

This was more than enough to defeat my opponent with a great formation, since with "Bizantine Kitty", having "Tank Heal" and +2 points of speed in all his cards, it was a challenge, but, testing this strategy worked perfectly, so I hope you can use it and apply it.

Conclusion

I hope you like this first strategy of the year 2023, I must emphasize that it is only applicable to the "Gold" league, or at least that is where I have tested it, however, I do not rule out that it can work in other leagues, the only thing you should take into account are the recommendations I have given in this publication and you will surely win, unless your opponent thinks the same way haha, but it would be interesting to see it, so, if you get a battle similar to this, do not hesitate to share your experience through a publication, I would be happy to read it.

Desde hace aproximadamente un mes que o público una estrategia de batalla, así que, ha llegado el momento de hacerlo, la primera estrategia del 2023, ademas, esta es especial porque probe una combinación que nunca habia probado y que tenia muchas ganas de llevar al campo de batalla con el conjunto de reglas correcto para probar su potencial, para mi sorpresa, la estrategia funciono perfectamente y lo más increíble es que puede vencer a “Bizantine Kitty” utilizando uno de mis invocadores favoritos del “Splinter de Agua”, el gran “Valnamor”.

Tratare de hacer este post un poco más dinámico y el grano, no dare muchos rodeos, pero, espero que presten mucha atención y lean todo el post, porque para este conjunto de reglas en especifico que jugué, me arriesgue un poco, se necesita espacio en la cantidad de mana a utilizar, pero si todos los requisitos se cumplen, las probabilidades de ganar serán muy altas y esto es lo que todos buscamos.

Para hacerlo mas fácil, comenzare por comentar el conjunto de reglas y por último, seguiré con algunas recomendaciones necesarias para poder replicar esta formación, ademas de la estrategia en sí misma, así que, solo disfrútenla…

Conjunto de reglas

Este conjunto de reglas que me toco es especial y me gusta mucho jugarlo, ya que de cierta forma podremos predecir solo con las reglas de batalla, con que cartas podría jugar nuestro oponente, en tal sentido, las reglas que me tocaron para esta batalla son las siguientes:

Counterspell:

Todos sabemos lo que hace esta regla de batalla y como afecta a las cartas que jugamos, pero, para aquellos mas nuevos en el juego lo explicare, así que, lo que hace esta regla de batalla es brindarles a todos los monstruos en el campo la habilidad llamada “Magic Reflect”, esto quiere decir que, todas las cartas que posean un ataque “Magico”, se verán en serios problemas, ya que sus ataques en cualquier dirección serán devueltos.

En esta regla lo que comúnmente debemos hacer, es utilizar otro tipo de ataque, como el cuerpo a cuerpo o distancia, sin embargo, así como nosotros pensamos en jugar con este tipo de cartas y ataque, nuestro oponente también lo hará, por lo que, debemos pensar muy bien que cartas jugar y como haremos para contrarrestar esos ataques de las cartas de nuestro oponente, o al menos disminuir lo mas que se puede el daño recibido.

Explosive Weaponry:

Esta regla de batalla es muy sencilla de entender, lo que hace es otorgarle a todas las cartas en ambos lados del campo la habilidad llamada “Blast”, la cual, causa daño adyacente a los monstruos que estén justo al lado del monstruo objetivo de ataque. Así que, esta es una regla que incrementa exponencialmente el daño en todas las direcciones en donde nuestros monstruos y los del oponente ataquen, en tal sentido, ya se deben imaginar, cual es la única habilidad en el juego que puede contrarrestar la misma, por lo que, la estrategia de esta batalla, se basa en ella.

Recomendaciones

Para comenzar con las recomendaciones, debo resaltar la cantidad de mana disponible para esta batalla, siendo la misma de 32 puntos, los cuales, en mi caso utilice exactamente esta cantidad, así que, mi recomendación para replicar la formación, es tomar en cuenta esa misma cantidad o superior.
Si vieron la imagen anterior, recomiendo tener un buen tanque de batalla con al menos mas de 10 puntos de vida, esto es para darle el tiempo suficiente al resto de nuestro equipo para que ataquen y destruyan las cartas mas peligrosas de nuestro oponente.
El tipo de ataque en el que debemos centrarnos pueden ser dos, en mi caso utilice el cuerpo a cuerpo, pero pueden probar con el ataque a distancia, sin embargo, es imprescindible que tengamos al menos una carta con la habilidad “Opportunity”, otra carta con la habilidad “Sneak”, no es den todo necesario que coloquemos una con “Reach”, pero puede funcionar.
Por último, debemos utilizar una carta que posea las habilidades de “Stun” y/o Shield, yo utilice a “Cyclops”, pero, pueden utilizar otra que cumpla con estas mismas funciones, mientras más rapidez tenga mejor, aunque, mi “Cyclops” solo tenía 2 puntos de velocidad, pero, fueron suficientes para detener a la carta más fuerte de mi oponente.

Estrategia

La estrategia de batalla que utilice su muy sencilla y antes de armar mi formación, pense en cada uno de los detalles de la batalla, tomando en cuenta que, mi oponente no jugaría con ataques “Mágicos”, puesto que se vería seriamente afectado y aunque los utilizara con algunas cartas que pudieran curar a sus monstruos de dicho daño, mis cartas con la habilidad “Opportunity”, harían el trabajo para derrotar a las mismas, así que, debo aceptar que mi oponente jugo bien, ya que al igual que yo, este se centro en el mismo tipo de ataque y en las mismas habilidades en las que yo me enfoque.

La única diferencia y fue en lo que me centre, es que yo coloque 2 cartas con la habilidad “Reflection Shield”, colocándolas exactamente en la 2da posición y en la penúltima posición, puesto que sabia que, mi oponente al menos utilizaría una carta con la habilidad de “Sneak” para buscar de derrotar a mi formación desde atrás, pero, con mi “Reflection Shield” en la penúltima posición y ademas, mi gran “Cyclops” y su habilidad “Shield”, logro disminuir notablemente el daño recibido, lo que pudo proteger a mis cartas principales en el ataque como “Deeplurker y Pelacor Bandit”.

Esto fue más que suficiente para derrotar a mi oponente con una gran formación cabe destacar, ya que con “Bizantine Kitty”, teniendo “Tank Heal” y +2 puntos de velocidad en todas sus cartas, era todo un desafio, pero, probando esta estrategia funciono a la perfección, así que espero les sirva y puedan aplicarla.

Conclusión

Espero que esta primera estrategia del año 2023 les guste, debo destacar que la misma es solo aplicable a la liga de “Oro”, o al menos es en donde la he probado, sin embargo, no descarto que puedan funcionar en otras ligas, lo unico que deben tomar en cuenta son las recomendaciones que les he dado en esta publicación y de seguro ganaran, salvo que su oponente piense de la misma manera jaja, pero seria interesante verlo, así que, si se consiguen con una batalla similar a esta, no duden en compartir su experiencia por medio de una publicación, estaría encantada de leerla.
