White chickadees are small, round-bodied birds with white plumage and dark eyes, common in the forests and woodlands of Praetoria's temperate regions. They spend their days searching bark crevices for insects and seeds, nesting in tree cavities and raising their young through spring and summer. They endure winter by caching seeds in hundreds of hiding spots throughout their territory.

It's been a while since I've made a Splinterlands post. What happened to all of the community engagement and art challenges anyways? Maybe they just want to focus on the awesome new addition to Frontier game play: The Jackpot Cards!

Frontier Mode that use Foundations cards is currently my favorite game mode in Splinterlands. I don't know what happened to Survival Mode. (I think they're working out the SPS rewards or something.) Wild is for my bot to play every hour. Modern is just too hard and I only have level 4 rare summoners plus it eats from the same energy pool as Wild so I'll only play Modern if my Wild bot reaches my leader board goals and I can find a cheap MAX-level archorn to summon all of my MAX-level Rebellion Reward cards. Even so I'll rarely make it to Gold III so Frontier is where I get most of my human game play action in the Splinterlands.

After getting all of the Foundations cards to MAX-level and about half of the Gold-foil cards and even a few black cards, it's really nice to have a new reward to look forward to other than more Foundations packs every day. I loved getting these when I was building my pack, but now that I've got every card I just keep piling these chests up. I got bored at about 30 chests and opened them all and now my second set of cards are all at level 3. Unfortunately the new Jackpot cards will NOT be found in these packs.

I don't know why there isn't any Earth card. Maybe because they already have the bear. Water is clearly the most powerful splinter so it makes sense the water card is a mana-expensive common card. She's still pretty fast and does a decent amount of opportunity melee damage. There already is a poisonous attack for the death team so I guess we can poison them from both the front and the back with this new rare rear attack card. The legendary fire card is a good addition because he'll add some melee power to your team but he too is a bit mana-expensive. It's also good to add some strong magic attack to the red team.

The card I want the most and the biggest game changer is the cute little birdy, White Chickadee. This little card will help elevate the Life Splinter from being the weakest team with its tank healing ability. At only 3 mana, this could really give the water and earth teams a run for their money. It's a cute and nice looking card I'd like to have in my deck. What about you? Did you get lucky and win some gold or black versions? Did you picks some up at the market? They are a bit pricey right now, but the price will only go down over time as the circulation inflates.
