NOT so -crypto- GOLF IMPACT: 30 days of fun so far...

What's up fellow Hive gamers? Today I'd like to share with you my experience playing my favorite new mobile game, Crypto Golf Impact.

My name is Jeremiah and I was born in 1980. My first memory of video games was of Pong and Pac-Man. I remember a few Christmases being disappointed NOT seeing a Nintendo Entertainment System under the tree which makes me an OG gamer. I love video games. Always have and always will. I hated school. It's a fucking miracle I graduated from college. The only thing I liked was art and language. My favorite classes in high school were my Japanese classes so it was natural that I became a linguist in the army at 19. I can speak Thai, Lao, and my English ain't not too bad neither. I've spent most of my adult life as a teacher so I made the website and brand of Conversation Gaming. Right now it's just a YouTube channel, dot com, and of course this HIVE blog. I hope to one day bring quality education through conversation through the metaverse or good video games, but right now, it's mostly just me blogging in the wind about what a great game and opportunity Splinterlands is. I'm always on the lookout for a Splinterlands quality video game to play, but nothing has come along so far. Sadly this new game, Crypto Golf Impact, ain't it, but it's still a very fun and addictive game I'd like to share with you today, just don't give these Korean scammers at Neowiz your credit card in hopes you'll ever really earn anything. I just think this is a great idea for a game and would love to see something like it on the HIVE blockchain one day.

Do you like golf games? The only ever golf game I've ever enjoyed was a Tiger Woods golf game we played together on the original X-Box back in Korea in 2006. We fellow bored teachers with too much money and free time on our hands would smoke lots of weed, drink whiskey, and bet $100 per game on a full 18 holes. We'd scream and curse at each other in great fun. Our neighbors surely hated us. This new game, Crypto Golf Impact, just reminds me of how much I hate touch screens and miss good old-school controllers, but it's all I got for now and my wife likes it too.

Why I love it...

It has great music, graphics (for mobile), gameplay, PVP fun, and cool rewards. It's also a great form of meditation for me. If I think about the past, my current problems, or the noise around me, I'll miss it. You must breathe in, breathe out, relax, and release.

Sometimes I'll log in just to collect rewards. They will give you red diamonds for watching ads for horrible game advertisements that I can't believe people are dumb enough to play. I'll just turn the volume down, let the ad run, and ignore it. After a month, I've yet to receive any legendary clubs. It looks like the only way to get one is to drop $99 a month. Fuck that!

Things I HATE about it...

The "crystals' you earn in the game are in no way a true cryptocurrency. You have to use their crappy wallet which has horrible KYC and even worse customer service.

I tried three times in vain to pass their KYC bullshit. I did indeed take high-quality images of my passport, but their knucklehead AI never accepted it. I sent them several emails to complain and all they did was reply in copy and paste replies.

They require you to pay $16 a month for the privilege of earning their so-called crypto which after a month of daily play, you be lucky to earn $20 after exchanging it from their shit-coins to something like USDT. Do NOT give these guys your credit card information thinking you'll ever earn any crypto! It's a fun game, but it has zero right to call itself a play-to-earn game.

My wife tried about four times to get it to work, but it wouldn't let me get the crypto pass outside of the United States. I hate it whenever apps or services say this shit. "We're sorry but we're not available in your country." Fuck you! It shouldn't matter if I'm from North Korea or the moon! If I want to play your game who gives a fuck where I'm located?

There are enough stupid shit-coins out there already. Why does every loser company like Neowiz think there needs to be more? Why can't we have a cool game like this using HIVE, Bitcoin Cash, or even pay in straight-up BTC Satoshis?

The scammers at Neowiz have a whole bunch of games out there now and I'm sure they're making a bunch of money from suckers thinking they're going to get crypto rich. I'd avoid these guys like monkeypox if they hadn't made such a fun golf game. Luckily for me, my bank was able to charge back all their charges, and Neowiz is so lazy at customer support that they didn't notice so I'm still earning their stupid crystals for free.

Conclusion

If you're looking for a fun golf game to play, then Crypto Golf Impact is a good one, just don't give them any of your real money, and don't expect to earn shit from this game. Don't expect to get anywhere with their horrible customer service support either. I really do like the gameplay and would love to see something like this on our blockchain soon. Splinterlands will be expanding to have music and sports games soon. I hope they make one like this using DEC, SPS, or HIVE.
