Splinterlands: Season Rewards & Glint Shopping

How are you all? Hope everyone is well. Those who are associated with the game Splinterlands know that there is a different excitement at the end of each season in this game. It seems like another exciting season has ended, and a new season has come before us. Every time we get our hard-earned rewards at the end of the season, there is a different feeling of happiness. Today I will share with you how my performance was last season and what I did with the rewards or 'glint' received.

Last season was quite challenging for me. I was playing in the Modern Format, and my rank at the end of the season was Diamond III. As you can see in the screenshot, my victory or win rate may not be directly shown there, but if you look at the rewards section, you will see that I have earned a pretty good amount of glint. I got 34,124 points as End of Season Glint and another 50,000 Glint as a bonus from the leaderboard. All in all, this season was quite profitable for me. These Glints are basically a reflection of our playing skills and how much effort we put in throughout the season.

With the end of the season, the new season has started, and naturally, my league has gone down a bit. Currently, I am in the Gold II league, and my rating is 2300. There is still a long way to go to push the rank in the new season. However, the Glint balance in my account stands at 90,636.4. As you know, Glint is a very important currency in Splinterlands, with which various necessary items can be purchased from the shop. I decided to use these accumulated Glints to improve the game instead of leaving them idle.

I first focused on the 'Legendary Potion' to buy with Glint. Legendary Potions double our chances of getting Legendary cards during draws or pack openings. I didn't have any Legendary Potions in my account at the time, so I decided to buy 500 Legendary Potions at once. Since we get an 8% discount from the Guild Lodge, it cost me 36,800 Glint to buy these 500 potions plus 50 bonuses (total 550). It is very important to have these potions to increase your Legendary card collection.

After buying the Legendary Potions, I had some more Glint left. So I decided to buy some 'Alchemy Potions'. Alchemy Potions basically double the chances of getting Gold Foil cards. As you know, the value and in-game utility of Gold Foil cards is much higher than that of regular cards. In this case, too, I ordered 500 potions and a total of 550 Alchemy Potions were added to my collection, including guild discounts and bonuses. This cost me 46,000 Glints. After the purchase, my balance now stands at 53,836 Glints.

Making the right decisions at the right time is very important to survive in the Splinterlands game and get into a good position. I am saving these potions because when I make a big draw or claim a card reward in the future, these potions will help me get valuable cards. I think the game's economy and reward system have become much more user-friendly since the arrival of the Glint Shop. Now we can choose the rewards we want, which previously depended a lot on luck.

The new season has started, and I have enough energy in my hands. Now the goal will be to reach the Diamond or Champions League quickly.
