• Thanks for stopping in to check in on my progress and happenings. Today I had a fun time playing, DEC rewards are much increased from the end of last season. I decided I am going to take advantage of the prices of chaos legion card prices and build some cards early, even though supply is guaranteed to increase and likely prices also, I feel the whole card stock has come down to very low prices and select cards will possibly rise even as chaos legion general sale starts. But its just a theory, Ive been wrong on my recent card purchases and SPS purchases but Im following the same strategy that made me wealthy in runescape merching:

My Concept is if you buy items (in Splinterlands case,cards) you plan to use for experience gains (playing earning DEC and SPS from tournaments) and buy some extra of these same things you plan to use. If price rises, sell some of excess when you 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x until none remain except what you need to use."

So using this concept I went on a shopping spree but thats for another post. I wanted to share a real life experience with perseverance in Splinterlands. I have been playing the past 2 seasons (month) in the highest leagues and getting the most reward chests per day and season, yet I have attained 0 epic or legendary regular foil in this time period. Early on when I played Splinterlands I would get subpar chests all the time and read reddit and splintertalk and see people opening legendaries left and right, and even gold foil legendaries with much less chests than im opening. Just today I saw a guy get 3 legendaries in 1/3 chests i opened for season rewards. It hurts but after all the games Ive played I understand its the nature of RNG (random number generators) and grinding it out is the only way. I wanted to share todays success after a long drought, I opened my daily reward today, 4 chests which has become small for me in past 2 seasons, and I got this beauty:
