Splinterlands BATTLE Weekly Challenge: DEFENDER OF TRUTH

Hello Splinterlands friends,

the theme of this week's Weekly Battle Challenge is DEFENDER OF TRUTH, an epic hero belonging to the Life element, a card particularly useful for its magical attack and in fights with game rules such as the limit of 4 mana. I have bought time makes the alpha version of the Defender and I remember buying it even at a much lower price, only now I notice that its value has more than doubled! Great news!

At the moment the card is upgraded to level 2 and 2 more cards are needed to reach level 3. The count for Alpha cards differs from Betas so that the number of cards needed for an upgrade does not coincide but it is also true that the cost of a single Alpha card is larger than the other version

Defender level 3 unlocks the unique Protect skill that increases allies' armor defense by as much as 2 points. The card's mana is 4 and is a great reason to deploy it in all possible battles. My advice is to at least upgrade it to level 2 to take advantage of the +2 magic attack which is really very useful. The design of the card is really well done, and it reminds me a bit of the Saint Seiya, anime and manga of the 80s, alas I'm quite nostalgic of those times!

ENCHANTED DEFENDER

It is a bit of the defensive wall of the formation with its +4 armor to which the +2 of the Summoner is added. He has never been empowered and therefore enjoys the basic characteristics. Nothing impressive but it is one of the few cards I can field in the first position with this battle rule

HORNY TOAD

The baddest toad there is, in the gold version, also guarantees me a percentage of DEC in case of victory. Deployed in second position already begins to launch attacks +2 from a distance. You can't ask for more

DEFENDER OF TRUTH

Here is my magical defender who launches attacks that hurt the opponents a lot and significantly contributes to the victory of the team!

LIGHT ELEMENTAL

Another epic card with +2 offensive magical characteristics, essential for attacking the life points of opponents, penetrating their armor. The Flying skill also allows you to dodge an important attack in order to win the final

CREEPING OOZE

I am fundamental in fast fights like this battle because, slowing down the enemies, it gives me an advantage in the attack speed of my cards. With cards with these characteristics, the advantage is decisive for the purposes of the battle and the final victory

ELVEN MYSTIC

Another neutral card but with magical offensive characteristics and, as you can see from the battle, it will prove to be the monster that will give me the final victory!

Ciao amici di Splinterlands,

il tema del Weekly Battle Challenge di questa settimana è DEFENDER OF TRUTH, eroe epico appartenente all'elemento Life, carta particolarmente utile per il suo attacco magico e in combattimenti con regole di gioco come il limite del mana 4. Io ho acquistato tempo fa la versione alpha del Defender e ricordo di averlo comprato anche ad un prezzo molto più basso, solo ora noto che il suo valore si è più che raddoppiato! Ottima notizia!

Al momento la carta è potenziata a livello 2 e occorrono altre 2 carte per raggiungere il livello 3. Il conteggio per le carte Alpha differisce dalle Beta per cui il numero di carte necessarie ad un potenziamento non coincide ma è anche vero che il costo di una singola carta Alpha è maggiore rispetto all'altra versione

Il livello 3 di Defender sblocca l'unica abilità Protect che aumenta la difesa armatura degli alleati di ben 2 punti. Il mana della carta è 4 ed è un ottimo motivo per schierarla in tutte le battaglie possibile. Il mio consiglio è almeno potenziarla a livello 2 per sfruttare l'attacco magico +2 che è davvero molto utile. Il design della carta, è davvero ben fatto, e mi ricorda un pò i Saint Seiya, anime e manga degli anni 80, ahimè sono abbastanza nostalgico di quei tempi!

ENCHANTED DEFENDER

E' un pò il muro difensivo della formazione con la sua armatura +4 a cui si somma il +2 del Summoner. Non è mai stato potenziato e per cui gode delle caratteristiche basilari. Nulla d'impressionante ma è una delle poche carte che posso schierare in prima posizione con questa regola di battaglia

HORNY TOAD

Il rospo più cattivo che c'è, in versione gold mi garantisce anche una percentuale di DEC in caso di vittoria. Schierato in seconda posizione inizia già a lanciare attacchi +2 dalla distanza. Non si può chiedere di più

DEFENDER OF TRUTH

Ecco qui il mio difensore magico che lancia attacchi che fanno molto male agli avversari e contribuisce in modo significativo alla vittoria della squadra!

LIGHT ELEMENTAL

Altro carta epica con caratteristiche magiche offensive +2, fondamentale per attaccare i punti vita degli avversari, penetrando le loro armature. L'abilità Flying consente anche di schivare un attacco importante al fine della vittoria finale

CREEPING OOZE

Mostro fondamentale in combattimenti veloci come questa battaglia perchè, rallentando i nemici, mi da un vantaggio nella velocità di attacco delle mie carte. Con carte aventi queste caratteristiche, il vantaggio è determinante ai fini della battaglia e della vittoria finale

ELVEN MYSTIC

Altra carta neutrale ma con caratteristiche offensive magiche e, come potrete osservare dalla battaglia, si rivelerà il mostro che mi regalerà la vittoria finale!
