Hello hivers,
the last hard fork caused several technical problems to the DAPPS and Front Ends of Hive, I lost count of how many times I changed the nodes in peakd, keychain and ecency...
Also Splinterlands had some problems with authentication via keychain but now everything seems to work perfectly.
PeakD and Ecency instead still have some problems but soon everything will return to normal and I hope that in a few days everything will be easy and functional as before also because for the first time I advised two friends who wanted to join Hive to wait a few days. I always try to promote Hive but, new users who enter these days may have a bad and wrong first impression of our beloved blockchain.

Going back to talk about Splinterlands this season I decided to stay for the second season in a row in the Gold league and I set myself a goal not easy: to enter the top 10 places in the Gold ranking.

Currently the top five places in the ranking are occupied by players who have very strong card collections.
For example, the third place @byzantinist has a Power score of almost 14 million.

We are still at the beginning of the season and probably some strong players are just passing through the Gold League.

It will be really difficult to reach my seasonal goal but it is also true that if the goal is easy there is no fun :)

At the moment I am in position 270 but I will try to play more battles than the previous season and above all I will not reduce myself to trying to get a ranking in the last two days.
If three days before the end of the season I will still be far away from the awards in the Gold ranking I will forget about the prizes in the rankings and I will only focus on the prizes in the chests.

DEC

The value of DEC tokens, after a great and constant growth, seems to have stabilized.

Today October 19, 2020 the best bid (BID) on Hive Engine is 0.00539 HIVE.

On October 5th I decided for the first time since I joined Splinterlands to sell a good part of my DEC tokens to make a Power Up on Hive.
I sold 81000 DEC and got 400 HIVE.

If I had sold them today I would have gained 36 more HIVE.

On the Splinterlands wallet I have another 23000 DEC and I'm really undecided whether to sell them or invest them in buying cards to upgrade my deck.
I am also undecided whether to sell some cards or not.

In general it's a good idea:

• Sell the cards when the DECs are cheap so that I can get a lot more DECs as payment.
• It is better to buy the cards when the DECs are worth a lot in order to spend less DECs.

The indecision derives from the fact that currently both cards and DECs have grown in value...

Daily Mission

Today's daily mission on October 19th required me to win 5 battles using the water element summoners.
The water element is one of my favorites.
I completed the mission after 10 battles: 5 won and 5 lost.

And here is the reward I got: 7 chests

In the chests I found 4 common cards and 3 potions for a total value of the cards of 0.062 $

It could have gone much better but it's okay :)

Classifica Gold, DEC, Considerazioni + Missione Giornaliera

Ciao amici,
l'ultimo hard fork ha portato diversi problemi tecnici per le DAPPS e i Front Ends di Hive, ho perso il conto di quante volte ho cambiato i nodi in peakd, keychain e ecency...
Anche Splinterlands ha avuto qualche problema con l'autenticazione tramite keychain ma adesso tutto sembra funzionare alla perfezione.
PeakD e Ecency invece hanno ancora qualche problema di troppo ma pian piano tutto tornerà alla normalità e spero che fra qualche giorno sarà tutto facile e funzionante come prima anche perchè per la prima volta ho consigliato a due amici che volevano iscriversi ad Hive di aspettare qualche giorno. Cerco sempre di promuovere Hive ma, i nuovi utenti che entrano in questi giorni potrebbero avere una brutta e sbagliata prima impressione della nostra amata blockchain.

Tornando a Splinterlands in questa stagione ho deciso di rimanere per la seconda stagione di fila nella lega Gold e mi sono posto un obbiettivo non facile: entrare nei primi 10 posti della classifica Gold.

Attualmente i primi cinque posti in classifica sono occupati da giocatori che hanno collezioni di carte molto forti.
Ad esempio il terzo classificato @byzantinist ha un punteggio Power di quasi 14 milioni.

Siamo ancora all'inizio della stagione e probabilmente alcuni giocatori forti sono solo di passaggio nella lega Gold.

Sarà davvero difficile raggiungere il mio obbiettivo stagionale ma è anche vero che se l'obbiettivo è facile non c'è divertimento :)

Al momento sono in posizione 270 ma cercherò di giocare più battaglie rispetto alla stagione precedente e soprattutto non mi ridurrò a inseguire un piazzamento in classifica negli ultimi due giorni.
Se a tre giorni dalla fine della stagione sarò ancora lontano dai premi lascerò perdere i premi delle classifiche e mi concentrerò solo sui premi in forzieri.

DEC

Il valore dei token DEC, dopo aver avuto una grande e costante crescita, sembra essersi stabilizzato.

Oggi 19 Ottobre 2020 la migliore offerta di acquisto (BID) su Hive Engine è di 0.00539 HIVE.

Il 5 Ottobre ho deciso per la prima volta da quando sono iscritto a Splinterlands di vendere una buona parte dei miei token DEC per fare un Power Up su Hive.
Ho venduto 81000 DEC e ho ottenuto 400 HIVE.

Se li avessi venduti oggi avrei guadagnato 36 HIVE in più.

Sul wallet su Splinterlands ho altri 23000 DEC e sono davvero indeciso se venderli oppure se investirli nell'acquisto di carte per potenziare il mio deck.
Sono anche indeciso se vendere alcune carte oppure no.

In linea generale conviene:

• vendere le carte quando i DEC valgono poco in modo da ricevere molti più DEC come pagamento
• conviene comprare le carte quando i DEC valgono molto in modo da spendere meno DEC.

L'indecisione nasce dal fatto che attualmente sia le carte che i DEC sono cresciuti di valore...

Missione Giornaliera

La missione giornaliera di oggi 19 Ottobre mi richiedeva di vincere 5 battaglie utilizzando gli evocatori dell'elemento acqua.
L'elemento acqua è uno dei mie preferiti.
Ho completato la missione dopo 10 battaglie: 5 vinte e 5 perse.

Ed ecco la ricompensa che ho ottenuto: 7 forzieri

Nei forzieri ho trovato 4 carte comuni e 3 pozioni per un valore totale delle carte di 0.062 $

Poteva andare decisamente meglio ma va bene cos' :)
