Buongiorno a tutti.

Anche quest'oggi eccomi rispuntare, approfittando di molto più tempo a disposizione, a causa della quarantena da Covid, con un post pomeridiano, invece che serale come di consueto, dedicato ai risultati delle mie Quest giornaliere su Splinterlands.

Temo, infatti, che dovrete sopportarmi ancora per parecchio tempo con questo nuovo orario, poiché, la quarantena, iniziata a causa della positività di mia figlia al tampone per il covid domenica scorsa, si è, quasi inevitabilmente, allungata anteriormente.

Questo perchè, da ieri, mia figlia non è l'unica positiva di questa casa, visto che siamo risultati positivi al tampone anche io e mia moglie, e, di conseguenza, la nuova scadenza per la quarantena si è allungata di parecchio nel tempo.

Fortunatamente, almeno al momento, la piccola di casa, che è stata la prima a risultare positiva, è anche quella che sta meglio di tutti noi, ed anche io e mia moglie non stiamo malissimo, anche se io, da un paio di giorni, alla sera, ho un calo nella saturazione, che arriva fino a 96, che mi provoca ho un po' di difficoltà nel respirare.

Avvisato il mio dottore, con il quale era già d'accordo per farmi visitare per un controllo visto che sembrava che avessi un po' di catarro, della mia positività, lo stesso si è vigliaccamente tirato indietro, e, basandosi sui sintomi che gli avevo descritto telefonicamente, mi ha dato una cura a base di cortisone ed antibiotici che ho subito iniziato.

Peccato, purtroppo, però, che questa mattina, mia moglie, parlando con una dottoressa dell'Istituto Rizzoli di Bologna che da anni la segue, a causa delle operazioni ai polmoni che ha dovuto subire nel tempo a causa di un bruttissimo ospite, che spero possa ormai definirsi sconfitto, questa abbia detto a mia moglie che, secondo lei, la cura è sbagliata poiché il cortisone e gli antibiotici agiscono contro i batteri, ma possono, al contrario, favorire il diffondersi del virus.

Vi lascio immaginare, di conseguenza, come io possa, al momento, trovarmi realmente confuso su cosa fare e su a chi dare retta in questa assurda situazione in cui avrei voluto evitare di trovarmi.

Ma questo non è il tema principale di questo mio post e, di conseguenza, la smetto di divagare su argomenti "off topic" e andiamo, al contrario, a parlare della protagonista principale di queste poche righe, ovvero la missione da me completata ieri.

La Quest di ieri era una Water Quest, ovvero una di quelle missioni per completare la quale si devono vincere cinque sfide, contro gli avversari di turno, utilizzando Summoners, e carte, principalmente dell'elemento acqua.

Come credo ben sappiate, se da qualche tempo seguite i miei post sull'argomento, la missione in questione risulta essere una delle mie preferite, poiché l'elemento acqua è, probabilmente, uno dei più forti del mio mazzo, che spesso e volentieri mi consente di portare a casa interessante vittorie.

Purtroppo, però, al livello Diamond III al quale mi trovo, le cose non sono mai facili come possono sembrare anche con carte ben potenziate, ed infatti mi sono trovato abbastanza in difficoltà per portare a termine il mio "compitino quotidiano", ritrovandomi, per un momento, anche sbalzato al livello inferiore.

Sempre più spesso, infatti, mi rendo conto che le nuove carte della Chaos Legion, se sfruttate bene, possono pesantemente sbilanciare alcuni equilibri che fino a poco tempo fa erano abbastanza consolidati.

Con l'utilizzo di determinate carte, infatti, ho notato, ad esempio, che l'elemento terra può quasi arrivare a sostituire, per potenza nell'utilizzo della magia, quello che fino a poco tempo fa era in assoluto l'elemento più potente al riguardo, ovvero proprio l'elemento acqua che dovevo utilizzare per completare la mia missione.

Dopo un iniziale difficoltà, dovuta forse anche un po' al fatto che mi fossi lasciato prendere dal nervoso, e dallo scazzo, per una serie di cocenti sconfitte, le cose sono girata a mio favore e sono riuscito, non solo a completare la Quest, ma, soprattutto anche ritornare a livello Diamond III.

Grazie a questo risultato, ovviamente, anche in questo caso mi è riuscito di portare a casa, in ricompensa, i consueti dieci scrigni.

All'apertura degli scrigni mi sono trovato davanti a una Legendary Potion, una Alchemy Potion, 61 DEC, una Pelacor Bandit dell'elemento acqua e, per concludere in bellezza, una Venari Wavesmith, carta rara dell'elemento acqua.

Dopo il colpo fortunato di un paio di giorni fa, che mi ha visto ricevere una leggendaria, quindi, sembra che siamo tornati a ricompense piuttosto misere, soprattutto se consideriamo tutto lo sbattimento al quale mi sono sottoposto per arrivare a questo risultato abbastanza modesto.

D'altronde è altresì vero che, fortunatamente, al momento sto veleggiando ad una lega abbastanza medio-alta, dove non è particolarmente difficile trovare avversari di buon livello che possono metterti facilmente in difficoltà.

In aggiunta a tutto questo, poi, non si può evitare di tenere in conto, ormai, tutte le nuove carte della Chaos Legion che, come già ribadito più volte, sono in grado di scombussolare gli equilibri in campo fino ad oggi, nonchè ribaltare completamente alcune strategie di gioco che risultano non essere più valide come prima.

Va da se, di conseguenza, che, se non voglio ritrovarmi di colpo a non essere più competitivo, dovrò decidermi, una buona volta, ad andare all'acquisto di un bel po' di pacchetti di carte di questa nuova espansione, così da rinforzare il mio mazzo e, soprattutto, poter iniziare a fare pratica con le nuove carte in modo da scoprire, presto, nuove strategie di gioco che mi possano consentire di affrontare i miei prossimi avversari un po' più preparato.

Cosa che in realtà avrei già voluto fare da tempo, ma, purtroppo, a causa di alcune mie sviste e, da qualche giorno a questa parte, del crollo di buon parte del mercato delle cripto, sono stato costretto a rimandare per mancanza della giusta quantità di fondi che volevo investire.

Ma per oggi direi che mi sono già dilungato fin troppo, con questo mio post, e, quindi, visto che non voglio finire con l'annoiarvi, anche perché ho anche divagato con argomenti "off-topic", per oggi non mi resta altro da fare se non augurarvi una buona giornata ed invitarvi a leggere i miei prossimi post.

Even today, here I am again, taking advantage of much more time available, due to the quarantine from Covid, with a post in the afternoon, instead of in the evening as usual, dedicated to the results of my daily Quests on Splinterlands.

I fear, in fact, that you will have to put up with me for a long time with this new schedule, since the quarantine, which began due to my daughter's positivity to the covid swab last Sunday, has almost inevitably lengthened beforehand.

This is because, since yesterday, my daughter is not the only positive in this house, since my wife and I have also tested positive for the swab, and, consequently, the new deadline for quarantine has lengthened a lot over time.

Fortunately, at least at the moment, the little girl of the house, who was the first to test positive, is also the one who is better off than all of us, and my wife and I are also not terribly ill, even if I, for a couple of days, in the evening, I have a drop in saturation, which goes up to 96, which causes me to have a little difficulty in breathing.

Alerted my doctor, with whom he was already in agreement to have me examined for a checkup since it seemed that I had some phlegm, of my positivity, the same cowardly pulled back, and, based on the symptoms I had described by telephone, he gave me a cortisone and antibiotic treatment that I immediately started.

Unfortunately, however, that this morning, my wife, speaking with a doctor of the Rizzoli Institute of Bologna who has been following her for years, due to the lung operations she had to undergo over time due to a very ugly guest, which I hope can now define himself defeated, this has told my wife that, according to her, the treatment is wrong because cortisone and antibiotics act against bacteria, but can, on the contrary, favor the spread of the virus.

I leave you to imagine, consequently, how I can, at the moment, find myself really confused about what to do and who to listen to in this absurd situation in which I wanted to avoid finding myself.

But this is not the main theme of my post and, consequently, I stop wandering about "off topic" topics and let's go, on the contrary, to talk about the main protagonist of these few lines, that is the mission I completed yesterday.

Yesterday's Quest was a Water Quest, or one of those missions to complete which you have to win five challenges, against the opponents on duty, using Summoners, and cards, mainly of the water element.

As I think you well know, if you have been following my posts on the subject for some time, the mission in question turns out to be one of my favorites, since the water element is probably one of the strongest of my deck, which I often allows you to bring home interesting wins.

Unfortunately, however, at the Diamond III level at which I am, things are never as easy as they may seem even with well-powered cards, and in fact I found myself in enough difficulty to complete my "daily homework", finding myself, for a moment, even thrown to the lower level.

More and more often, in fact, I realize that the new cards of the Chaos Legion, if used well, can heavily unbalance some balances that until recently were quite consolidated.

With the use of certain cards, in fact, I noticed, for example, that the earth element can almost replace, for power in the use of magic, what until recently was absolutely the most powerful element in this regard, that is the very element of water that I had to use to complete my mission.

After an initial difficulty, perhaps partly due to the fact that I had let myself be taken by the nervous, and by the scazzo, for a series of bitter defeats, things turned in my favor and I managed, not only to complete the Quest, but, above all, also to return to Diamond III level.

Thanks to this result, of course, also in this case I was able to take home, as a reward, the usual ten chests.

When I opened the chests, I found myself in front of a Legendary Potion, an Alchemy Potion, 61 DEC, a Pelacor Bandit of the water element and, to top it off, a Venari Wavesmith, a rare card of the water element.

After the lucky shot a couple of days ago, which saw me receive a legendary, therefore, it seems that we are back to rather meager rewards, especially when we consider all the hassle I went through to get to this rather modest result.

On the other hand it is also true that, fortunately, at the moment I am sailing to a fairly medium-high league, where it is not particularly difficult to find good level opponents who can easily put you in difficulty.

In addition to all this, then, we cannot avoid taking into account, by now, all the new cards of the Chaos Legion which, as already reiterated several times, are able to upset the equilibrium in the field up to now, as well as completely overturn some game strategies that are no longer valid as before.

It goes without saying, therefore, that if I do not want to find myself suddenly not being competitive anymore, I will have to decide, once and for all, to go and buy a lot of packs of cards of this new expansion, so as to strengthen my deck and, above all, to be able to start practicing with the new cards in order to discover, soon, new playing strategies that will allow me to face my next opponents a little more prepared.

Which I actually wanted to do for some time, but, unfortunately, due to some of my oversights and, for a few days now, the collapse of a large part of the crypto market, I was forced to postpone due to lack of the right amount of funds I wanted to invest.

But for today I would say that I have already dwelt too much, with this post of mine, and, therefore, since I do not want to end up boring you, also because I have also rambled with "off-topic" topics, for today I have nothing else left to do except wish you a good day and invite you to read my next posts.
