I GOT 3rd PLACE!!!

Good Day to all Praetorians!
I am very happy to share with you all a tournament wherein I placed 3rd out of 95 players. As you can see from the table below, three of us are tied with the same win-loss record. So, a Tie Breaker was used to determine the placings. This tournament happened before the battle viewer was updated, so we will see the older battle viewer which I think I prefer more. But when re-playing the battles, it sometimes goes to the new Battle viewer page.

Ruleset: Weak Magic(Magic damage hits armor before reducing health), Holy Protection(all units have Divine Shield-ignores all damage once), Shades of Grey(only Neutral units may be used), 13 Mana

This is the first time I saw the Legendary Neutral card ELEANOR BRAVEFOOT in action. Luckily she got Exhausted in the later rounds that helped me secure the win. AVINA OF THE WOLF as summoner was also a big help as it gave Heal to my HALFLING REFUGEE prolonging its life.

Ruleset: Explosive Weaponry(all units have Blast-deals an additional 50% damage to units adjacent to target, rounded up), Odd Ones Out(can only summon units with odd mana cost), 44 Mana

Again I chose AVINA OF THE WOLF as summoner but this time I selected the plus 2 speed ability to 2 units. I assigned the plus 2 speed to MANTAROTH and RIKLAUNIMAN as both had double attacks making better use of the Blast damage ruleset. The result was two of the enemy units were killed in the very first round as I had the advantage of speed. My team was still intact until the final round.

Ruleset: Silenced Summoners(summoners give no stats buff or debuffs or any abilities), Holy Protection(all units have Divine Shield-ignores all damage once), Even Stevens(can only summon units with even mana cost), 19 Mana

I was lucky to choose DARK ARBORIST in this battle as it is only 4 mana which allowed me to use an additional 2 mana unit FLAME MEPHIT. DARK ARBORIST also has Demoralize(reduces the Melee attack of all enemy units by 1) which reduced the attack of his 6 mana CHAOS ORC to only 1. I had the advantage of numbers 6 vs 5 monsters in this contest.

Ruleset: Ferocity(all units have Fury-deals double damage if the target has Taunt), 36 Mana

The plus 1 Shield given by the opponents summoner ELIAS MAX PRUITT to his team is for naught as most of my units have enhanced Magic/Melee attack thanks to LORKUS. Also, I assigned Life Leech and Affliction to GRIMBARDUN SMITH and CHAOS EVOKER which increased their health each round while preventing their targets to get healed.

Ruleset: Going the Distance(only units with Ranged attack may be used), Equalizer(initial Health of all monsters is equal to that of the monster on either team with the highest base Health), Aimless(units with Magic and Ranged attack have Scattershot-attacks random targets), 43 Mana

ETERNAL TOFU was a lucky pick as she counters the Flying ability given by the enemy summoner RISQRUEL DRATH with Snare(when attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss). TOFU also gives plus 2 Health, and grants Triage(heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage) and Scavenger(gains 1 max health each time any monster dies). These 2 Tactics I assigned to RIKLAUNIMAN which I planned to be my 2nd tank. Since my opponent only has 2 units with Close Range, once these 2 went down his first position unit became quite useless securing me the win. GG's 👍.
