My daily Splinterlands battle journal!!! Episode 003 Year 2023

Aside from my usual battling day, today I got my brawls results! This time the brawls weren't that good, but I enjoyed playing them!

My yesterday's nine reward chests had 0.406 SPS, four Alchemy Potions, three Legendary ones, a Blood Maker and a Gargoya Lion! Cool! The cards came back! Yay! My daily focus was Defend this time, but it didn't work out for me as I wished. Every time I tried to use those focus cards, I lost. Nevertheless, I got for tomorrow eight reward chests and six for my next End of Season for 29 chests in total. I won 16 of 28 battles for a 57.1% win rate. I played 20 of those battles in Wild format and only eight in Modern. For those won battles I got 3.009 SPS and I hit 1,716 rating points (RP) in Modern format, and 1,704 RP in Wild. So you can see how hard it was to win for me. I mean, I got more points than in Wild with just eight battles played in Modern. I am closer today to my secondary goal for the season, but still I couldn't get above the 1,900 RP threshold.

My brawls results were not much better than today's battles, either. I only won two of six frays in the bracket of Silver league-Untamed-Chaos Legion-Dice-Riftwatchers only cards, getting in seventh place this time. They are usually hard, but sometimes I can win half of the battles. My guild, Ultimate Gamers, previously known as Zensports is in tier 2 right now. The thing is they were bought and rebranded as Ultimate Gamers and today we got placed in the sixth place. The good thing is for those brawls I got six points, 713 merits and 12.031 SPS! Very nice! I hope I can win more frays for the next brawls!

It's from one of those won frays that I highlight the battle of the day! It has enough mana to place big cards, but I couldn't use any Epic or Legendary cards in it. The only two Splinters allowed were Fire and Dragon. I won using Chimney Wallstop as a secondary tank with the reach ability. His other ability, Bloodlust makes him pretty deadly with the Fire Splinter. In all my other frays I made horrible mistakes like using zero mana cards that can be used in their favor. I just keep forgetting not using them in there! I just place them automatically!

Although, today was not so good, it wasn't that bad, really. It was still a fun battling day, I got good rewards and I'm closer to my secondary season goal! Let's find out if tomorrow I can finally accomplish them!!!
