Splinterlands Battle Challenge with Grim Reaper.

Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning match with Grim Reaper in splinterlands. And with this post; I'm going to join SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! Grim Reaper.

I didn't play even a single match with this monster before although it has a big attack power but I don't like it cause it's a high mana monster with very low health. I didn't even have this monster in my collection before. And now, I had to buy it again for the challenge. It could be a fantastic asset for the death splinter if it just had bigger health. Grim Reaper needs 6 mana for battle and I'm using this monster in level 1 to share a battle. My Grim Reaper is in level 1 with 3 ranged attacks, 2 speed & 3 health.

A Brief Info About The Match
The battles mana cap was 27 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the death splinter and my opponent used the water splinter against me.
My Lineup.
As monsters, I had my Haunted Spirit in level 1, Phantom Soldier in level 1, Creeping Ooze in level 1, Grim Reaper in level 1, Twister Jester in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Sea Monster in level 1, Cocatrice in level 1, Sand Worm in level 1 & Water Elemental in level 1.
Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.
No 01: HAUNTED SPIRIT (RARE Death Monster)
This is the melee attacker of death splinter which I use in every battle that I play with death splinter if it's available for that battle. One of the finest monsters of death splinter. I like its power, especially its "Heal" ability.
My HAUNTED SPIRIT is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 7 health with the "Heal" ability, and this monster need 5 mana to play.

No 02: PHANTOM SOLDIER (EPIC Death Monster)
I still remember those days playing battle with death splinter where there was this monster. Then when I added this monster to my deck, I could see its beauty... the beauty in its action. With "flying" ability, this monster is the best fit in the earthquake ruleset and it has so nice powers.
My PHANTOM SOLDIER is in level 1 with 2 magic attacks, 3 speed, 8 health with "Flying" ability, and it needs 8 mana for the battle.

No 03: CREEPING OOZE (COMMON Neutral Monster)
The one mana neutral monster that's been taking a place almost in every player's heart, I guess.
It has the ability "Slow" which decreases the speed of every monster of the opponent team.
I used my Creeping Ooze in level 1 with 1 speed & 1 health with "Slow" ability and it needs 1 mana for battle.

No 05: TWISTED JESTER (RARE Death Monster)
It's my favorite monster in splinterlands which is Twisted Jester.
I'm a big fan of this card from the beginning of my splinterlands journey so I don't need to check on its ability.
Twisted Jester is a good fit for the match for its special abilities and high attack, speed, health.
Oh, I like that clown a lot.
He doesn't talk but he bites, so be careful.
My TWISTED JESTER is in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 3 speed, 4 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

No 06: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)
This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counter attack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.
My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

- In my personal opinion... Grim Reaper is a decent fit for the ruleset.

For the special ability of my summoner, all melee monsters of my opponent team that had better than 1 melee attack, lost 1 melee attack each. Nothing happened for the special ability of the opponent's summoner. Then for the special ability of my Creeping Ooze, all monsters of my opponent that had more than 1 speed, lost 1 speed each. Then the Phantom Soldier of my team, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on the Sea Monster of my opponent team and killed 2 health. Then my Twister Jester attacked and killed 2 health of the Water Elemental of my opponent but that monster instantly healed him and got the health back and also attacked back on my Haunted Spirit. Then my Grim Reaper which is the theme card and for who I'm writing this post atm, attacked for the first time on Sea Monster of my opponent, killed 3 health out of 6 and applied the "Affliction" ability on it for what Sea Monster became unable to heal back its health which was really fantastic and I think for this little thing, Grim Reaper became the savior in this match. Then my Haunted Spirit healed one health and attacked the opponent's Sea Monster and then that Sea Monster left only with single health without the ability to heal itself even after it had the healing ability. Then my Furious Chicken got fried, I mean it died and went on someone's plate for sure, lol.
My Phantom Soldier killed the Sea Monster of my opponent after that Sea Monster attacked my Haunted Spirit and it was like my Phantom Soldier avenged the attack on his teammate.
My Grim Reaper attacked and killed the Cocatrice of my opponent and then Sand Worm of my opponent attacked and killed my Haunted Spirit although my Haunted Spirit just healed a moment ago... but it got killed for the big melee of Sand Worm of my opponent.
This is the moment when I was sure about winning the match as my opponent had only a single monster and that too couldn't attack from that position as it's a ranged attacker and it was at the front position.
The battle got finished in round 4 while my team still had four monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought.

I do love that affliction.
I agree, the reaper has kinda low health, but can make up for it if he ends up hitting a healing monster (like he did here).
