Splinterlands Card Review: Charlok Minotaur.

Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Charlok Minotaur.

Charlok Minotaur (COMMON Fire Monster)

I was not so active in splinterlands and suddenly this raging bull came out of nowhere in my eyesight. I was like "What a great visual of this monster!"
I didn't have this monster in my collection at that moment and I didn't get one from the reward as well so I went to the market in search of this beast to check out its power and ability. It has an ability in the very first level which is "True Strike" and this monster's attack can't miss because of that ability no matter how hard the opponent is.

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 3 melee attacks, 1 speed & 10 health with the "True Strike" ability.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market.

Let me show one of my battle using this card.

Link to the battle.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battle mana cap was 14 with the "Standard" ruleset where I used the fire splinter for the battle and my opponent used the earth splinter against me.

I've used the Charlok Minotaur at the front position with Furious Chicken & Highland Archer on the back to support it although this monster was kind of one in a hundred with its big melee attacks and big health.

My Lineup.

I had my Charlok Minotaurin level 1, Furious Chicken in level 1 & Highland Archer in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Flesh Golem in level 1 & Creeping Ooze in level 1.

I've used three monsters where one was the Charlok Minotaur with "True Strike" ability, a chicken without any attacking ability, and an archer with a tiny ranged attack against an opponent with two monsters where the front monster was just someone who could attack although it had the healing power with big melee attacks as well although that's no greater than the power of my monsters.

Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

No 01: Charlok Minotaur (COMMON Fire Monster)

I was not so active in splinterlands and suddenly this raging bull came out of nowhere in my eyesight. I was like "What a great visual of this monster!"
I didn't have this monster in my collection at that moment and I didn't get one from the reward as well so I went to the market in search of this beast to check out its power and ability. No 02: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 03: Highland Archer (Common Neutral Monster)

Highland Archer is one of the best neutral monsters with a ranged attack when it comes to playing a low mana cap battle or when you need to add fantastic support with only 3 mana.

My Highland Archer is in level 1 with 1 ranged attacks, 1 speed, 2 health and it needs 3 mana for battle.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

On the battlefield.

For the special ability of my summoner, my only melee monster which was Charlok Minotaur got a +1 melee attack and that made my Charlok Minotaur attack with 4 melee attacks. And for the special ability of my opponent's summoner, all monsters of my opponent team got +1 health each. Then for the special ability of my opponent's Creeping Ooze, nothing happened as the slow poison usually applies on the monster that has more than 1 speed but all my monsters were with a single speed. Then the Flesh Golem of my opponent team, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on my Charlok Minotaur and killed 2 health out of 10 and then my Highland Archer attacked the Flesh Golem but missed its target but my Charlok Minotaur had the "True Strike" ability for what, his attack can't be miss so he attacked and killed 4 healths of the Flesh Golem of the opponent team.

Kind of the same thing happened this time as well although my Highland Archer didn't miss its attack this time. He first attacked and killed 1 health of the Flesh Golem of the opponent and then my Charlok Minotaur snatched away another 4 health of that opponent monster while the Flesh Golem of the opponent monster was left with a single health and the Creeping Ooze was unable to say anything so it was kinda easy for my monsters to win the battle.

image.png

Flesh Golem of my opponent team died by my Highland Archer with a single attack and then the Creeping Ooze of the opponent came out front but what was the use of it? My Charlok Minotaur was waiting to eat the ooze alive. It came with 2 healths and my Charlok Minotaur attacked it with 4 melee attacks. What a miserable death!

The battle got finished in round 3 while my team still had all the monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought and the monster that I tried to review in this post really is a fantastic one, seemed.
