Splinterlands Battle - A Battle with Mitica Headhunter.

I'm attending the weekly battle challenge of splinterlands.
This week's theme is Mitica Headhunter.

Mitica Headhunter is an untamed monster in earth splinter. This is a monster with ranged attack and a nice ability.

This can level up to level 6 but for that I need a summoner of higher level also.
I don't have a summoner that's in higher level so I tried this monster on level 1 with my level 1 earth summoner.

Power: This is a nice card with 4 ranged attack, 5 speed and 5 health in level 1.

Abilities:

Snare Ability:
When attacking enemies with flying, removes the flying ability and cannot miss.

This ability can be found at level 1.

Piercing Ability:
If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armor, the remainder will damage the target's health.

This ability can be found at level 4.

Shatter Ability:
Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from monsters with shatter.

This ability can be found at level 6.

I played with earth monster team.

It was a battle of total 27 mana with one rule and that is-
Standard: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.

Flying: Has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability.
And another ability in the sixth level which is-
Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack, monsters with retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.
And another ability in the tenth level which is-
Poison: Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.

Reach: Melee attack monsters with the reach ability may attack from the second position of the team.
And another ability in the sixth level which is-
Piercing: If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armor, the remainder will damage the targets health.

Battle Details

My Battle

• Round 01
  
  My team started the battle with the first attack with mitica headhunter and then one monster from my enemy team attacked. Then the my team attacked some and then my enemy monster team did it again thus it continued. The front monster of enemy team died in this round.

• Round 02
  
  Mitica headhunter of my team killed another monster of enemy team at the beginning of this round. Then another monster of enemy team died and my front monster also died in this round.

• Round03
  
  This round also started with killing a enemy monster by mitica headhunter of my team and then this round ended early.

• Round 04
  
  This round also started with killing a enemy monster by mitica headhunter of my team and then the enemy team had only one monster left and that too can't attack because it was a ranged attack monster. The enemy monster got some hit but didn't die in this round.

• Round 05
  
  Mitica headhunter of my team was in a mode for hunting in this battle and killed the last monster in this round.
  My team finished the battle in this round.

• Battle Results
  
  I was the winner of that battle with 36 points and 0.125 DEC.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes my strategy worked nicely and I might try similar monsters with nice powers next time when I do some battle.
